Ah . . . The ball of fire shines bright today. It will be a hot weather today; although, it is still early in the morning—forty-five minutes before nine.

I can't stand summer heat. It's not that I hate the season of summer, but I actually like it. I mean, it is the season of when all of the flowers bloom beautifully as the trees bear their sweetest fruits. Summer is a happy season.

Looking at the surrounding, the countryside is showered with vibrant sunlights; grass grows taller and greener in the meadows—swaying with the course of the wind; the cicadas make long, shrilling noises as the birds chirp, having a certain melody; the flowers are happy with brilliant morning sunrays they received; and it is a cloudless sky with hazy atmosphere.

The wind blows and I inhaled the refreshing pure and clear air that fills my lungs. As I walk on the pavement, I'm heading to the Sakanoshita Store—the convenience store owned by Keishin Ukai's family.

I'm going to visit Hitoka Yachi's residence, so I had to buy something for hospitality's sake. And I'll be meeting Tobio Kageyama at the convenience store.

I hold my yellow umbrella tight and quicken my pace. I sigh and wipe some beads of sweats on my forehead with my free hand holding a handkerchief.

Few minutes after, I reached the store. I go inside and sight the Karasuno coach in the counter area.

"Ossu," he uttered while his eyes on a magazine.

"Yo, Mr. Grumpy-guy-at-the-convenience-store!" I greet him.

Soon as he flips his head up, he gives me a frown and says, "Geh."

I smirk at his reaction and focus on the things I should buy. I pick the snacks that I like. Sour, sweet, salty, or spicy—anything. Once I'm done, I head to the counter and give Coach Ukai a work.

"You've bought a lot, oi." he commented with a lazy voice while purchasing the food I bought.

"Why? You have some complaints?" I keep the smile on my face just to annoy him.

"Che, did I state any complaints, huh?" crankily, he shots back.

"Nope," I answer, popping the 'p' sound. "You have to grateful, y'know, because I'm helping this store to gain more income."

"Y-You damned brat." He gritted his teeth as he bitterly admits his defeat.

"Hehe, just kidding." I chuckle, "We'll have a group study today, so I bought a lot."

"I see," his expression goes back to normal. "This is much. Can you carry all of these?"

Ah.

Now that he've said it, I've just only realised. Soon, Coach Ukai will finally finish packing the snacks I've bought, and all in all, there are four bags of it.

"Uh, well, I think I'll manage . . . somehow." I tell him.

"Just like what I thought." he sighs as he finishes wrapping everything up. "You won't be accompanied by someone?"

"Oh, I'm going with—"

And I'm interrupted by someone who entered the store. A permanent scowl is sketched on his face, greeting us both Ukai-san.

"Speak of the devil." I said, pertaining the Glaring Guy. "I'll be with Tobio Kageyama-kun to have a group study at Yachi-san's place." Then I explain the other details to the coach.

"Now, now. Problem solved. Pay up and leave at instant." He grumpily remarks.

"You never change, huh." I mutter to myself, taking my wallet and get some money to pay my bill.
