Chapter 17
Albus was sitting in charms when it happened.
Professor Flitwick was lecturing on the counter curse of a jelly leg curse.
There was a knock on the door and Flitwick got down from the chair he was standing on and opened it.
Quiet muttering was heard from behind the door when McGonagall came out from behind it.
"Mr. Potter," she says, her voice crisp but soft. "May I have a word?"
Albus nods and stands up, seeing his brother peeking from behind the door.
He knew immediately.
Just from the look in his eyes.
The minute the door shut behind him his brother threw his arms around him.
James would never cry in front of anyone.
But right now, his brother needed it.
Harry was already in the Headmistresses office when they arrived.
His eyes were red and all of his usual cheerfulness gone.
His eyes no longer shined with joy and his face was pale, stone hard.
His head snapped up when the door opened and he opened his arms for his sons as they engulfed him in a hug.
The Potter's were definitely not known for tears, they could be beat until numb but their pride would over power the pain. And their stubbornness of course.
But all three of them had tear in their eyes.
McGonagall left the room, her emotions takin over.
She decided that the family needed time to themselves.
Time to heal themselves.
