(Bjorn)
I saw my sister walk over to a man who had giver her a proud look when she spoke of the seer. “Father, who is that man?” “which one son?” “the one with sister.” “that is Floki a good friend of mine you will meet him soon.” “are he and sister lovers?” “no, though I wouldn’t be opposed to that.”

(Faolan)
“Floki what do you think of my father’s wishes to go west?” “I think your father is a mad man but that never stopped him, I think all will go well, I will look after him little wolf.” “thank you Floki you are always there for me.” he wrapped his arm around my waist and we listened as my father tried to provoke the earl. I shook my head at his antics, “always the troublemaker ‘ey.” “indeed. Would you like to come with me I have something I would like to tell you.” “of course.” he gave my father a look before leading me outside toward my horse. “Faolan, I have something to confess.” I looked at him with concern “are you alright Floki?” “yes i’m fine, it’s just, Faolan i’ve been in love with you for a long time. And I understand if you don’t return my feelings I just thought-” I cut him off with a kiss “you talk too much, of course I love you Floki, I have for a while as well.” he grinned his signature grin as I gave him a kind smile before we went back inside and joined my family in the feast. My father pointed at us with a smile on his face and I nodded before lacing my fingers with his and smiling to myself. After lacing my fingers with his Floki smiled down at me kissing my head before returning to his food. Halfway through the meal my father asked about the raids. “What of the raids this year lord, where will we be raiding.” “can’t it wait Ragnar?” “yeah why not tell us we all want to know.” my uncle spoke up for my father, sighing the earl spoke “we will be raiding east into Russia.” my father spoke of going west and the earl didn’t like that, he didn’t want my father to make a fool of him.

The next day I awoke with Floki lying on my stomach with his arms around my waist. We had stayed at our campsite with our dog the previous night, my father and uncle being too drunk to walk through a door. I smiled down at him stroking what little hair he had, chuckling to myself ‘so this is what the seer meant when he said my father’s journey west would lead me to my lover’ as I was in my head I didn’t realise that Floki and the others had woke. “Good morning little wolf.” I jumped before looking down at him and smiling again.

(Floki’s POV)
I awoke to the feeling of someone stroking my hair, I looked up to see my little wolf staring off into space, realising everyone else was awake I spoke “good morning little wolf.” she jumped before she returned to petting me and smiling at me. “Good morning my love.” her voice was like silk, so smooth and comforting. Unwillingly I got up and went to eat the food Ragnar cooked, her not far behind me. We had a few trials to sit through before we went back to Ragnars house, I was going to ask my little wolf to move in with me, already having Ragnar’s permission to do so. Watching the last trial I turned to my little wolf seeing her staring at the man as he lay dead and headless on the ground, she was muttering something to herself, I don’t think she realised what she was doing. “Little wolf?” she turned and looked at me “yes?” “are you alright?” “i’m fine I just would like to go see the seer before we leave if that’s alright?” “of course little wolf.” she walked off and I realised the seer was on the other side of the crowd.

(Faolan’s POV)
I walked over to the seer, he turned and smiled at me “hello goddess, what can I do for you?” “is Floki the man you spoke of, my lover?” “indeed my child, your chosen who will join you as your god.” “me and Floki will be gods?” “yes you the goddess of the earth and animals, him the god of craftsmanship.” I smiled Floki was to be my god, my forever. “Thank you.” I licked his hand and returned to my love smiling as I linked our hands and walked with him and my family putting my head on his shoulder. Our trip was long and we arrived at my house later that day just after sunset. My mother and sister awaited us with food and smiles, I rushed to my mother to tell her of what the seer told me. “Mother I have things to tell you.” I turned smiling at Floki who gave me a smile in return, I dragged my mother into the other room to tell her. “Mother you will never guess what the seer told me.” she smiled urging me to continue “he told me that father’s wish would bring me to my lover which it has, and that me and my lover where to be gods, I the goddess of the earth and the life upon it, and Floki the god of craftsmanship.” she smiled “that is wonderful my child, i’m glad you are so happy.” I hugged her, after we joined the men and Gyda in the kitchen for food, I sat beside Floki. “I have something to tell/ask you.” we both spoke at the same time, I giggled, “you first.” he smiled at me “little wolf I was wondering if you would like to move in with me.” my smile brightened as I kissed him. “Of course i’ll move in with you.” I intertwined our fingers and continued to eat. After we finished eating father asked Rollo and Floki if they would join him on his quest west, of course they agreed. After all that me and Floki left traveling to our hut, we arrived as the sun began to rise. “Go to bed little wolf, I will join you soon.” I smiled and kissed his cheek before going to our room to rest, I loved saying that our, not his or mine, ours. True to his word Floki joined me in bed soon after. “Where did you go love?” “to check on your father’s boat.” I nodded before cuddling into his chest to sleep. “Not yet little wolf you said you had something to tell me.” I hummed before sitting up and looking at him. “Yes, the seer told me that father’s quest west would bring me to my lover, you, and that I was a goddess and my love was to be my god. It would seem your love for the gods paid off my love.” his eyes lit up as he agreed with what I said and he laid down with his head on my chest as he sighed in contentment.
