I hopped downstairs and saw Iruka opening the door, welcoming the priest. "Thank you for coming, Father Hiruzen." Iruka greeted as he invited him in. The priest made his way down to my basement automatically as though something was attracting him there.
He halted at the bottom of the stairs to the basement. "I sense something very powerful in this room." He exclaimed as his hand reached out to the handle of the door. Iruka shrieked in fear and withdrew himself from the door. I stood there unfazed, determined to chase out whoever or whatever it is from my home. Father Hiruzen swung open the door powerfully and chanted. There was a strong gust of cold wind suddenly and the door slammed close with no physical contact. "What the hell!" I was startled as cold sweat began to form on my skin. Iruka was already wailing in the back.
The priest burst through the door and looked around the room in astonishment. "This overpowering feeling.. What is this?" The priest mumbled to himself before he snapped back into it and continued his chanting. He took out the cross and bible while I dragged Iruka into the room, the door immediately slammed behind us just as we entered. Because Iruka was frozen in fear, I had to lit all the candles myself while the priest stood there in the middle of the room with his eyes closed and chanting inaudibly. While I lit the last candle, the face of the man, only inches apart from mine appeared.
"Fuck! He's here! He's here!" I pointed at the man dressed in all black, falling backwards and landed harshly on my bum. "You can't get rid of me." The hellish man smirked as he swept the priest off his feet with only a hand gesture. The priest collided with the stone wall and blacked out immediately. "Aren't you looking down on me? Sending such a low-skilled scum to dispose me?" He crawled above me, grinning so wickedly, fangs literally so close to my skin I could feel his cold breath.
"Iruka!" I yelped, sending Iruka out of the daze he's in. He instantly dashed to my side and helped me up.
Does he not see the devil?
"Do you want him to see me?" He asked, eyes glued to mine while I was being helped up. What in the world, did he just read my thought?
"Yes. I know what you were thinking."
My eyes widen when he actually replied to my thought. Is all of this really happening? Is this man really the devil?
The evil looking man laughed, he did another hand gesture and Iruka knocked out. I was dropped to my bum again when my support suddenly lost consciousness. "Yes. I am a devil. My name is Sasuke Uchiha."
"But.. Why.. Here?" I was trembling and paralyzed by fear on the stone cold hard ground. Sasuke floated above me, eyes mocking me. His face inched closer, "I told you. You're damned. Just like your parents, and now you're my damned soul." He whispered.
"You.. Killed my parents?" I was unable to accept the fact that my parents died this way and more importantly, cursed our family. It has to be just a nightmare. This couldn't be happening! I was everything to father and mother. How could they do this? They swore they loved me, they swore they'll always be here for me. My tears escaped from my eyes, rolling down my rosy cheeks.
No way..
Its unbelievable."No, I didn't. It was their own greed that killed them." He licked my tears, his sharp fang brushed across my soft skin in the process. "Are you going to kill me next?" I stoned, as his tongue slid across my cheek.
"Of course not, my dear Naruto." He slowly dissolved into the darkness, only red glowing eyes staring daggers into my soul.
What did he meant by "of course not"?
Abruptly, Father Hiruzen and Iruka regained consciousness at the same time. It was as if time continued ticking. The moment with the demon Sasuke Uchiha was so unreal, it felt like time actually froze. I blinked a few times to try and stomach it all. But I couldn't. "Are you both alright?" My voice was still shaking and weak. "What happened?" They asked in unison.
We were all seated at the dining table, discussing the situation. "It's a devil, Sasuke Uchiha." I stated. "The devil revealed himself to you?" The priest was astonished, he shook his head as he flipped through pages of his old worn out book. "Sasuke Uchiha, lord of the evil and damned spirits and creatures." Father Hiruzen showed me a monochrome image of Sasuke Uchiha. He looked exactly like a fallen angel, bloodied eyes filled with hatred and sorrow. He had wings, horns and fangs. It was so scary, had I really seen this demon?
Iruka was lost for words. He hardly could even remember what happened in the haunted basement. The priest ended up leaving, said he would report this to the higher ups and in the meantime he advised us to leave this mansion until they can figure out a way to get rid of Lord Uchiha.
I sighed aloud as I landed on my bed. What should I do? I don't want to move out of this house. But I don't want to put Iruka and the rest of the household in any danger.. It's no good.. School is starting soon too. How did all of this happen? I just wanted to pay my respects to my parents! How did I accidentally unleash a devil?
"We should do as he says and leave as soon as possible." Iruka's voice dragged me back into reality, I sat up and stared at him intently. "Say, Iruka. Are you scared?"
"Scared?! Of course I'm scared!"
"But he didn't kill us though.."
"And you're going to wait around for that to happen?!" Iruka grabbed my shoulders, "I'm very worried of your safety, Young master. So please, please do as the priest says!" I sighed, facing the windows, staring out to the scenery as I took a minute to think. "How do you know if he won't be able to follow me?" I turned back to face my loyal butler.
"Please don't say such creepy things, Naruto!" Iruka cried out. I shrugged and landed back onto the bed, buried myself underneath these sheets. "Guess it can't be helped, can it?" I grumbled under my breath.
"I'll take that as a yes!" Iruka was relieved, as he sat by my side the entire night, protecting me from harm while I was in slumber despite of how afraid he was.
Iruka is now the only one I can count on, I can't let anything happen to him.
So for his sake, I'll leave this place until Lord Sasuke is gone.
