Ryder POV:

The receptionist let me know Aria was here. Not the best timing because I have a meeting with John Knight about two new clubs he wants me to design and if that goes well he wants me to design some hotels. I told my secretary to escort Mr. Knight to the conference room and get him a refreshment and apologize that I will be a few minutes late. I went to the elevator and Aria and Mr. Knight were walking out together and that fucker had his hand on my woman. I grabbed Aria and gave her a kiss to show the fucker that she is mine. I grabbed her by the waist and walked her into my office.

"How do you know John Knight?"  It didn't look like they just met.  I know she was in the club scene but fuck!  She pulled away from me and sat down.  I stood in front of her and leaned against my desk.  "I'm waiting for your answer."  She rolled her eyes.  Typical Aria.  "We met during a business meeting."  I scoffed.  "Bullshit!  What kind of "business" meeting?  Huh?"  She stood up "where do you think you're going!"  I tried to pull her towards me but she pulled away and glared at me.  "I'm not going to deal with you when you're acting like this."  Shit!  "Wait, I'm sorry.  Okay. Look I have this meeting with him and then we can talk.  Please stay here and wait for me.  I'll have my secretary grab you some snacks or whatever you want." 

She stood there contemplating but finally agreed.  I wrapped my arms around her and gave her a peck.  "I love you Babygirl."  She just nodded.  "My PA will be in the meeting with me but my secretary Melanie will grab you anything you want.  I'll let her know."  She nodded again.  "I'll be as quick as I can Babygirl."  I walked out and towards the conference room. 

When I walked in everyone was there and waiting for me.  "I apologize for being late.  I had a pressing matter."  Mr. Knight had a smirk on his face.  We carried on with the meeting showcasing the new designs and ideas and I will say John was a very smart business man asking all the right questions.  We ended the meeting.  Everyone left and it was just me, my PA and John. 

"Mr. Smith, your designs are very good and innovative.  I'm excited to work with you in the future."  I nodded.  "Please just call me Ryder and thank you, I appreciate that.  I have an amazing staff that help."  He smiled.  "By the way, I didn't realize Aria and you were together.  We just met earlier at a meeting, I hope you didn't take it the wrong way.  I must say she is an intelligent and beautiful woman.  You're a lucky man."  I wanted to punch him in the face.  I don't buy this nice guy bullshit.  I know he wants her.  But I have to bite my tongue. "I do know how lucky I am and how blessed we both are that she's carrying our babies."  His face changed quickly.  "Well congratulations."  Haha asshole.  Bet you didn't know that.  We shook hands and we both left the conference room. 

I got to my office and Aria wasn't there.  I asked me secretary Melanie "Hey Mel, where did Aria go."  She smiled.  "I believe she said something about meeting her friend John Knight.  Isn't that who you just had a meeting with?"  This dumb bitch.  I should have fired her after the shirt thing that Aria stormed off on me for.  When she spilled my coffee I had a bad feeling it was on purpose.  I had no extra shirts in my office so I sent her to buy me one.  She wanted to help me change and I said no, just get the tags off for me.  She left one on and when I asked for scissors she offered to cut it off for me, then she started buttoning up my shirt while I told her it wasn't necessary.  I let it go and made it clear it was a bit in appropriate.  Since then she tries to flirt but nothing over done. 

But now she is telling me Aria left with John Knight and I know that's bullshit because me and John left at the same time and I walked him towards the elevator. "Mel, when did Aria and John knight leave?"  She smiled, she thinks I believe her.  "Once everyone left the meeting.  I saw her walk out with John.  Is that his girlfriend?"  She asked trying to be innocent.  "No, you know Aria is with me.  I've told you many times."  She giggles and started batting her eyelashes.  "I'm sorry sir, I thought you two separated."  I rolled my eyes.  "No we didn't, so you ready to tell me the real reason Aria left or should I here what she has to say first?"  I questioned.  Her complexion started going pale.  Yup, she did something.  "I'm waiting for an answer Mel."  She looked down.  "I-I d-don't know w-what you mean sir."  I walked into my office.
