That asshole is still trying to get to Aria, but what he doesn't know is how strong our love is for each other. She wanted to cancel the gigs after that dinner, but I convinced her not to. I know surprising, but he owns the top and best clubs in the country. The thing is, I love and trust Aria. Within these past two months things have been amazing. I still want her to move in with me but she's stubborn.
Biggest surprise is, me and Elizabeth have gotten very close. I've always liked her, just had issues with her husband. I can't believe I'm about to say this but Xavier hasn't been so bad. We've actually all had dinner a few times together and had a decent time. Plus side is me and Elizabeth have been talking and she's going to help me get my girl. Her birthday is next week. I know she doesn't like accepting gifts but this is for all of us, me, her and the babies.
I know she loves the beach but the travel time is not great. They do have a train but it's an hour with stops. So, I decided to by us a home in Atlantic highlands. It's 15 minutes to everything she loves and we are in NJ but on the river. Plus side is the ferry. It'll take an hour or less to get to the city. I would have preferred more north but this keeps us close to the beaches and water that she wants. Elizabeth helped me pick out the house and I trust her. Im just hoping she likes it, but if she doesn't we can sell and she can pick any home she wants.

The house is amazing. Five bedrooms, six bathrooms, big backyard and decks and windows overlooking the water on every floor, an amazing kitchen which I know she will love. I invited all her friends and family. Well not all, just the ones who are close to her. I definitely didn't invite any business associates who are not necessary but of course all her clients/ best friends are invited. All her DJ friends fought for who would DJ so I had to give them time slots and then they did rock paper scissor for the top slots, how does Aria deal with these guys. Oh yeah she's amazing.
I kept asking Aria what she wants to do for her birthday and she keeps saying nothing. I already know I have the party planned, but I want to keep it a secret. I can tell she is getting pissed and irritated with me but I will suck it up for the greater good of surprising her.
The day of the party I told her we were goin our to dinner to red bank. As we were driving I got a text message. "Babygirl can you check my phone since I'm driving?" She nodded and did as I asked. "Babe, it's a client saying he has an emergency and needs you to stop by ASAP." I tried to play it as I'm pissed. "Bullshit, tell him I can't meet him." Just as I said that another text came in. "Babe, he's actually in NJ in the highlands. It's on the way and he says it'll be quick less then 20 minute meeting,". I gotta play this, "no babygirl, it's your birthday. I can just deal with it later." There's my girl rolling her eyes. "Babe, we are in the area, just take the meeting real quick. Plus you said the reservations are for 8pm and it's only 6:30pm. We have plenty of times." I sighed. "Fine, put the address in the GPS.
