Two days later, Hell actually let loose on the castle.

Despite the fact that they were supposedly in a relationship, Draco'd forgotten to tell Harry that he was going to disappear forever.

Or maybe Harry was being dramatic. There was no way Draco was gone forever.

But he had been gone since their last meeting, and that was a weird thing. Harry learned from Blaise that Draco hadn't been sleeping in the Slytherin dormitories at all for the last few weeks, which was weird, because Harry always remembered Draco leaving the Room of Requirements before he did. Blaise said it probably had something to do with You-Know-Who. Neville scowled at the fact that Blaise was speaking. Blaise shrugged.

Harry didn't want to believe that Draco's mysterious disappearance had to do with Voldemort, but he had to pretend that he thought that way so that people wouldn't be suspicious when he asked questions.

The Room of Requirements acting weird didn't make anything better. For the last two days, since Draco'd disappeared, the room hadn't allowed Harry in. It was like it was already in use. Harry asked Hermione about it, and she said she'd look into it. She, of course, didn't, with school as a distraction and all.

Ron wasn't any help, because he was constantly trying to woo Neville, which was a weird experience for everyone. There was no way Neville could get over Blaise in two days, but Ron shot his shot. (He got nowhere, by the way.)

So Harry was on his own. Draco was missing, Blaise didn't care, Pansy and Hermione were AWOL, Neville was heartbroken, Ron was trying to win Neville over, and Dean and Seamus were off fucking somewhere. He had absolutely no one to help him, and he still had to worry about Voldemort.

Fuck.

He had a lot of shit to deal with, so he started a list.

-Find Draco

-Kill Voldemort

Apparently it was a lot less than he'd thought. Two things. But they were the most difficult tasks he'd ever had to deal with.

He started with the first one: finding Draco.

He thought of all of the places in the castle that it was possible for Draco to be. And he had nothing. He'd checked everywhere. Draco hadn't been in the library, the kitchens, or even the Chamber of Secrets. He was gone. Vanished out of thin air.

And then he had an idea.

During lunch, Harry walked over to where a few Second Years were sitting. "Hey," He smiled, waving at the four girls.

"Pardon?" one of them asked. "Are you talking to us?" Harry nodded.

"Yeah. You're the ones I yelled at last year, right? Near the first day of school? I said it was unfortunate that I am who I am?" Harry asked, looking around as if he hadn't used a pensive to make sure he had the right girls.

"Yeah," said the short one. "That's us. What do you want?"

"To apologize?" Harry tried.

They shook their heads.

"Fine. I heard you guys are gossips, and I need to know if you've seen someone." The girls looked at each other with strange expressions, and eventually, without speaking, they all came to an agreement.

"We'll help, I guess," said one of the girls. The tall one, that is.

"Fantastic." He slid into the seat next to the tall girl, and he watched them all swoon. "So, have you guys seen Draco Malfoy?" he asked.
