When Kat opened her eyes she was in front of the tree of life. Before she could ask why she was there, she heard an explosion. She turned and shut her eyes as a wall of fire rushed towards her. She could hear screams all around her as she was engulfed by fire. The screams died down and the world became still. The silence around her became deafening. She opened her eyes and covered her mouth at the sight in front of her. The ground was charred and the sky was red. There were piles of burning ash all around her. The smell of burning flesh lingered in the air. She could make out the faces of her friends and the legends in the smoldering ash all around her.. Tears fell down her cheeks. She turned towards the tree and dropped to her knees.

"NO!" she cried out. The once beautiful tree was now black and lifeless. Its branches smoldered and turned to ash in front of her. She heard someone come up behind her.

"You should've stayed out of it," Kris told her sadly

"You should've stayed out of it," Kris told her sadly. He knelt down and wrapped his arms around her. She could hear more movement behind her.

"Give up. You've failed," Luhan told her. She pulled out of Kris's grasp and turned to face him. Tao, Luhan, and Lay stood behind him. They all wore the same loose black shirt and pants.

"You had to know you were doomed to fail from the start," Tao said. Their eyes were shining red as they watched her. She looked at the bodies of her friends and something inside her stirred.

"Did you really think you could make a difference in this war? Such a naive little thing," Kris said grabbing her shoulders. She stared at him dead in the eye.

"I don't care what you say. I will never stop fighting," she told him. His grip on her shoulders tightened making her wince in pain.

"I really wish you hadn't said that," he told her. She pulled away from him and turned to run. She stopped when she saw a hooded figure standing in front of the burning tree. The red hooded robe swayed in the wind. Their face was hidden in shadows. A pair of red glowing eye stared at her. She looked behind her to see Kris, Tao, Luhan, and Lay kneeling.

"She is the last of the Legends, Great One," Lay said bowing his head. The figure suddenly rushed towards grabbing her by the throat.

"DIE," the figure told her. She sprang up in her bed gasping for air. She held her throat as she looked around the dimly moon lit room. A small breeze from the open window caught her attention. She didn't remember opening the window. She looked at Kiona's sleeping body and figured she must have opened it. She could hear a soft dripping noise as she stood to close the window. She went to the bathroom, thinking the dripping was from the sink. The sink was dry.

"I'll ask Suho in the morning," she said to herself. She walked out of the room and went downstairs to the kitchen. She turned on the light and went to grab a glass. The glass slipped from her hand, but never hit the floor. It levitated in front of her. She grabbed the glass and smiled.
