Chapter 9: Leap Of Faith

"KAT! KAT! OPEN YOUR EYES!" Ally yelled, shaking her. Kiona knelt down and put her hands on either side of Kat's head.

"I don't understand. It's not working," Kiona said. She looked helplessly around the room. Suho came over and knelt down next to her.

"I'll stay with her. Go help Kai," he told her. Kiona got up and ran over to Kai. She knelt down and gently placed her hand on his shoulder. She could feel his bones mend under her touch. His jaw was the last to mend. D.O. and Sehun helped him stand. Kiona turned and went back to her friends. Emma was slumped over and breathing heavily.

"She's not waking up," Ally said. Kiona put her hand on Emma's back.

"What the hell?" she exclaimed.

"What's wrong?" Suho asked her. Kiona shook her head.

"Her burns healed, but she isn't any better," she told him. The others came over to see what was wrong. Xiumin knelt down next to Ally. Baekhyun came over and helped Emma sit up.

"Kat and Emma's injuries are healed," she explained. "But she's not waking up and Emma looks like she is going to pass out."

"I think we should take them upstairs and try to figure out what's going on," Suho said. Xiumin nodded and lifted Kat up, cradling her in his arms. Baekhyun did the same with Emma and followed Xiumin upstairs. Kiona cleared off hers and Kat's beds.

"Okay, put Emma here and Kat over there," she said pointing to the beds.

"Kiona. Emma's bleeding," Baekhyun told her. She ran over and saw blood dripping from Emma's ear and noise.

"Kat too," Xiumin said walking over. Kiona placed her hand on Emma.

"Nothing is working. Why isn't this working?" she said as tears started rolling down her cheeks. Ally came over and put her arms around Kiona.

"Just breathe. You need to calm down so you can concentrate," Ally told her. Kiona took a deep breath and tried again. The bleeding slowly stopped and Emma looked at her.

"I feel so tired," Emma said. She reached out and gave Kiona's hand a weak squeeze. Kiona smiled and walked over to Kat. She placed her hand on the side of Kat's face. The bleeding stopped, but she still didn't wake up.

"Why won't she wake up?" Chen asked handing a wet towel to Ally.

"I don't know. I don't understand what's wrong. Kat and Emma should be healed," Kiona said. Suho turned and left the room. Kiona and Ally got up and went after him.

"Where are going?" Ally asked stopping him. "This is all your fault. If you had just told them to stop, this would have never happened." Everyone was crammed in the hallway watching. Suho held his hand up telling the others to stay back.

"Do you think for one second Kris or the other would have stopped?" he growled, making her take a step back. "No. If this had been a real fight, you and your friends would have been captured or worse killed." Kiona stepped in between Ally and Suho.

"You both need to stop. This isn't helping," Kiona said catching their attention.

"She's right. This isn't helping," Xiumin said taking a step forward. Suho nodded and looked at Ally and Kiona.

"One of you needs to come with me and the other take care of Emma and Kat," Suho said. He turned and walked to his room. He grabbed two pillows and put them on the floor. He lit some incense and set it between the pillows. Ally and Kiona looked at each other and back to Suho.

"What are you doing?" Kiona asked confused.

"I'm going to ask the tree of life for help and guidance," he told her. He lit several candles around the room and sat down on one of the pillows.
