Chapter 1 : Happy Birthday

She sprang up in bed as she let out a scream. Her blonde hair was damp with sweat and her breathing was ragged. She ran her hands through her hair and threw herself backwards on to her pillow, letting out an irritated moan.

"UGH! That fucking dream again," she said to herself as she ran her hands over her face. The door to her room swung open hitting the wall. Her roommate came running into the room.

"Kat are you okay? I heard you screaming,"she said, giving Kat a worried look.

"Yeah Kiona. I'm okay," she answered sitting up in the bed. Kiona walked over to her and plopped down on the bed.

"Let me guess, the nightmare again," Kiona said, more statement than question.

"Yes, but it was different this time," she said. Kiona raised her eyebrow and gave Kat a puzzled look.

"Okay explain," she told her. Kat took a deep breath and looked at her.

"Well the other dreams I was running from Kris, while the building is crashing down around us," Kat told her. Kiona nodded while shifting into a better position on the bed."It wasn't just me and him this time. There were five others. They were all really good looking," Kat said with a slight blush.

"So what happened?" Kiona asked.

"Kris and two others, umm... their names were Tao and Luhan. They were fighting with the other three. One of them was hurt and Kris was trying to take him. There was a big fight and I hit Kris with a rock, and "

"Wait wait you did what?," Kiona interrupted, laughing a little bit.

"The guy was hurt and I wanted to help , plus Kris said he was going to kill me," she said quickly

"Then the building started to come down around us and... okay don't laugh but there was a talking tree." Kiona couldn't help it, she started laughing so hard she fell off the bed.

"I said don't laugh," she said hitting Kiona with a pillow.

"Kat what the hell did you eat before bed last night?" She asked between giggles.

"The same as you. Why?" Kat answered with a pout.

"Oh my god. Leave it to you to have a dream about a hot ass guy and piss him off, and then talk with a tree," she said still laughing. Kat couldn't help it and started to laugh with her.

"Okay, okay my turn. I had a pretty awesome dream last night," Kiona said getting up and sitting back down on the bed. Kat smiled at her and gestured for her to continue.

"Okay so there was this totally hot guy. He was tall, nice body, nice eyes, black hair, and just fine as hell. He was super sweet and just perfect. My only thing was his tattoo," she said looking at Kat. Kat tilted her head to the side.

"He had a tattoo of a Unicorn," she said

"Okay, haha very funny. Next you are going to tell me it was on his right hand," Kat said as she got up off the bed.

"Wait how did you know where it was on his body?" Kiona asked. Her eyes watching her roommate very carefully.

"Okay don't freak out, but your guy was in my dream," she said.

"Wait... what now?" Kiona managed to ask.

"Okay, so your guy is the one Kris was after. I think his name was Lay," Kat explained. "All of them had tattoos. Even Kris had one." Kiona looked at Kat in disbelief.
