SHATTERED BY JEALOUSY...

Chapter Ten.

After Logan and Jennifer spent the rest of their day together, Logan decided to head home, not knowing what he might see and face. Jennifer felt happy but some part of her wanted to check on Liam after all, he was her best friend.
Jennifer revealed the entire truth to her dear brother not knowing this would be an invitation for Lucy to use it all against her.

Next day.

Alex: Sorry guys but you'll have to excuse me, I need to take this call.

Jennifer: Since when do you use words like excuse me?

Alex: Oh hush it Jenny.

Lucy calls Alex up for a second date or should we call it another phase in her plan?

Lucy: Hey Alex, so glad you could make it.

Alex: Haha don't be, cause I wouldn't have missed this for the world.

Lucy: Aw that's so sweet Lexy Bear.

Alex: "Lexy Bear" What's that?

Lucy: Its a nickname, I made one cause I really......Like you.

Lucy's pov.
Okay that was probably the hardest thing I've ever had to say but it'll be worth it once Jennifer gets what she really, really deserves.

Alex: So what do you want to do Lucy the cute......erm
S-sorry I'm terrible at making nicknames.

Lucy: Oh it's absolutely alright Lexy Bear, leave the nicknames to me.

Alex's pov.
Seriously!
What's wrong with me, she probably thinks I'm a brainless bird now.
Get your act together Alex!

Lucy: Earth to Lexy Bear?

Alex: Oh sorry, I zoned out.....

Lucy: Its alright,
Umm.... so I read your messages yesterday.
It's really tragic whatever is happening with Jenny and Liam.

Alex: Man I know, but Jenny should have told you guys about her boyfriend so in a way I can't blame Liam.

Lucy: I totally understand why Jenny wouldn't tell us or rather, tell me...

Alex: I really want you guys to patch up even though I have no clue towards what happened.

Lucy: Well it's mostly because we're together.

Alex: Well don't worry about it, she's a really good sister and friend.
I'm sure she'll come around.

Lucy: I really want to patch up with her but I'll need your help.

Alex: I'll do anything to help you out,
What do you need?

Lucy: Well you see, Jenny always used to tell me everything but then she stopped.

Alex: Yeah, she likes to be a private person now.

Lucy: I see that but can you please help me out......Lexy Bear?

Alex: Like I said, I'll do anything to help you out.

Lucy: Why thank you so much!

Alex: So what do you need?

Lucy: I need you to tell me something really important about Jenny.

Alex: Like?

Lucy: Well, remember last year when you guys went for a vacation to Saint Lucian, to like visit some of your relatives or something like that?

Alex: Oh yeah, I can't ever forget that one of a kind vacation slash visit.
Why are you asking about that?
We were there literally last year.

Lucy: Because, Jenny hasn't been the same since you guys went there.
Besides, she came back SIX months after you guys did.

Alex: Oh....uh because she wanted to stay back.

Lucy's pov.
I knew it!
Something had happened in those six months, Jennifer wouldn't speak up and she was always changing the topic when I asked about it.
Alex himself looks pale, almost as if he's seen a ghost.

Lucy: I'm not her enemy Alex, I just want to know what in heavens name happened to her. Because you know,
You know  how ill she looked when she came back and how she was so on edge.

Alex: Okay look Lucy, I really like you, I really do but this is Jenny's life and yeah something did happen but....
I can't tell you.

Lucy: Why?
Do you not trust me Alex?
I'm just trying to know what happened to my best friend and you can't even tell me?

Alex: No Lucy, I trust you with my life but Jenny trusts me as well and being her brother I can't break her trust.

Lucy: Alright then, not only have you proved me as untrustworthy ,but you have also proved whatever you feel for me is nothing but a lie.

Alex: No Lucy.....I promise you it's not like that. I trust you more than I trust myself and whatever I feel for you is real and it's never been as real as it is now.

Lucy: No Alex don't bother.
I should go now....

Alex's pov.
I-I don't know what to do!
Cause no matter what I choose to do someone is going to be disappointed.
I really like Lucy, and you could call it love but I love my sister too and she's already going through so much.
Also I can't lose Lucy , I've had the longest crush on her and I know she'll never tell.

So I'll be a man and I'm just going to go ahead and tell her.

Alex: Lucy wait, I'll tell you but you have to take it to the grave.
Only our family knows about this and if they hear I've told you this, they'll practically disown me.
Please Lucy I'm trusting you.

Lucy's pov.
Finally he cracked open, after a lot of over acting though.
But I'm glad he's obsessed with me and thanks to him I might actually destroy Jennifer sooner than expected.

Alex: Although I don't see how knowing her secret is going to patch you guys up, cause you can't tell her that you know.

Lucy: Why thank you Lexy Bear, and don't worry I will take it to the grave.
I promise.
As for our friendship, don't worry perhaps her secret will make me understand her much better.

Alex: Okay,I trust you know what your doing and that you will take it to the grave.
So here goes....
                   *whispers*

Lucy's pov.
Oh. My. God!
I don't know what I expected but Jennifer's secret is bigger and so much worse than I thought.
Once I spread it her life will certainly be over.

Hey guys, I hope you all enjoyed this long awaited chapter after I disappeared for about a month.
