Chapter Six.

Ah......the day of the "date". Jennifer's having her doubts while her ever so naive brother is heads over heels in love. I guess it's true when they say not all that glitters is gold.

Alex's pov.
I couldn't possibly get any happier than I am today. The girl of my dreams .....wait no, the QUEEN of my dreams is turning into my reality.
I've never been worried about how I dressed but today I'm freaking out. Now I know what a girl means when she says "I have nothing to wear."

Mr Morgan: wow son, your first real date.

Alex: Come on dad.
I've had dates before.

Jennifer: Virtual characters don't count Lia-- err I mean Alex.

Mrs Morgan: Come on now , be nice to your brother and as for Liam, if you feel something for him why don't you tell him.

Alex: Don't tell me you don't know the story.

Mrs Morgan: What story?

Jennifer: NO!
I mean there's no story at all, right Alex.

Alex: Uh what's wrong with your face ?

Jennifer: Oh nothing, I just look like you.

Alex: I'm pretty sure I've already said that before.

Jennifer: Doesn't matter but can I please talk to you?

Alex: If this is about my date with Lucy, I don't wanna hear it.

Jennifer: It isn't
Come on.

*LEAVE THE ROOM*

Alex: So what's up?

Jennifer: How did you find out??

Alex: Find out what?

Jennifer: About me and Liam.

Alex: Oh
Is your memory as small as you?
Cause I'm pretty sure you know I'm friends with his brother.

Jennifer: No and Ooh
Liam must have told him.

Alex: Duh.

*Knock*

Mrs Morgan: Alex dear, are you expecting Lucy here.

Alex: No mum we're meeting in the park.

Mr Morgan: I'll go check who it is.

Mr Morgan: Jenny it's for you.

Jennifer: Oh.....I don't think I'm expecting anyone.

*Goes to the door*

Jennifer: Liam!

Liam: Hey Jennifer.......

Jennifer's pov.
"Jennifer"it sounded so foreign slipping off his tongue since he always called me Jenny. He was somewhat nervous and I could tell from his repeated staring at the ground.

Jennifer: How are you feeling?

Liam: I'm doing fantastic , I mean I'm actually standing in front of the girl I'm hopelessly trying to get over.

Jennifer: Liam........

Liam: I know , I know you don't like me that way but I - I can't help it...

Jennifer: Oh Liam I really wish I could make you understand......

Liam: Then make me understand....

Jennifer:*exhales* Alright Liam but I trust you'll keep this to yourself.

Liam: Of course I will.

Jennifer: umm well .....
I've been seeing someone else.

Liam: WHAT!
Who?

Jennifer: Some guy, I met on instagram.

Liam: WHAT'S HIS NAME!?

Jennifer: Don't yell Liam, you'll create a scene.

Liam: Then what do you expect me to do huh?
Just stand here calmly?
You could......actually no, you should have told me about this.

Jennifer: The guy isn't from around.
I wanted him to visit me and then I'd introduce you all to him.

Liam: Oh my you're so smart Jennifer.
Maybe just maybe if you told me sooner.
I could have saved myself from heartache.

Jennifer: Don't blame this on me.
No one can control what someone else feels.

Liam: okay fine I'll agree but what about US being "best friends"?
Or did you just simply forget?

Jennifer: I only started seeing him recently Liam and get that straight cause you literally can't force me to tell you everything.

Liam: Force?
There's a difference between asking and forcing.
I didn't even for once force you to make me understand, I just asked you ONCE.

Jennifer: Alright Liam, I'm sorry but I have a personal life too.

Liam: Oh I'm so sorry......I totally forgot you had a personal life so you know what.......stay alone in your personal life and DON'T EVER INVOLVE ME AGAIN!

Jennifer: No Liam.
Listen to me.

Liam: Save it.....

Liam's pov.
I could sense her teary eyes staring at me as I stormed of. I just wanted to apologize but instead I got a reality check. I was so stupid to think I actually had a chance with her but to be fair she hid so much from me.

Jennifer: *crying*

Alex: Jenny are you okay.

Jennifer:........

Alex: Don't walk away from me, tell me what happened out there.

Jennifer: Lia-Liam.......

Jennifer's pov.
I filled Alex in on what happened including my secret boyfriend.
I could see the shock in his eyes and a little bit of anger.

Alex: So in short, Liam yelled at you and said some horrible stuff cause you have a secret boyfriend.

Jennifer: *sniff* yeah....

Alex: I'm gonna be honest here, both of you are wrong cause.
1. He is your best friend and you shouldn't have hidden such a thing from him and....

2. He should understand the word space and he shouldn't have talked to you like that....

Give it sometime both of you need to cool down.

Jennifer: Thanks Alex but aren't you getting late for your date?

Alex: Oh shoot!
Yes, yes I am.....
We'll talk when I get back.
