I woke up and looked at the clock on the bedside table next to me '6:37' I rubbed my eyes and saw Rob asleep on the FaceTime on my phone. I smiled not wanting to wake him up I ended the call and sent him a text
'Hey hon, I didn't wanna wake you but I have to be at rehearsal soon have a good day at work x'
I yawned and procrastinated getting dressed while staring at the roof snuggled into the comforter. I scrolled through twitter until the time changed to 7 and finally decided to get up. I threw my hair into a ponytail and tossed my character shoes into a drawstring bag I had packed with all the necessities for the day. I walked out of the room to see Derek sitting at the counter sipping what I'm assuming is a cup of *roasted coffee your morning cup of Joey* coffee
"Hey morning" he smiled
"Hi" I said tiredly
"Jet lagged?" He asked and I nodded
"Yup but it's my fault for procrastinating when my flight is. Rehearsal starts in about 40 minutes" I rubbed my tired eyes
"Need a ride"
"That would be lovely" I smiled half awake
"Alright let's get going. To be early is to be on time" he laughed, I rolled my eyes and followed out the door. "You excited to be back on stage" Derek asked
"Yeah, but I miss everyone at home. Especially Rob"
"Ya know 2 years ago you would of said this was your home" he said focusing on the road
"Home is where the heart is" I looked out the window
"So tell me about this boyfriend of yours" he said
"Rob? Well he's amazing. He's actually the reason why I came back" I said
"Oh?"
"Yeah, I uh wasn't gonna take the job. I was happy with how my life was at the time, He knew it was my dream to have a lead role. So he sent the email... saying I'd come back" I said as he pulled up to Richard Rogers
"Hey y/n/n" he said
"Hmm"
"Don't push yourself to hard ok?" He asked and I smiled
"Thanks Der" I smiled and got out of the car
I sling my bag over my shoulder and opened the stage door
"Morning Charles" I waved and walked past him signing myself in. I made my way to the stage with 15 minutes to spare. I set my stuff in the wing
"Good morning Mrs. L/N" the stage manager said
"Please call me Y/N" I smiled
"Of course. This is Gabriel he is going to be playing Alexander. Everyone else is the current cast member"
"Nice to meet you" he smiled and shook my hand. I took notice of his dark brown eyes and fluffy black hair
"Alright let's get started with some vocal exercises, this is Anayah Oliver (my first reader character! I hope you're fine with how I worked you in) both of you will be sharing a personal Vocal coach." I smiled
"Hello" she smiled brightly her British accent strongly showing through. She had long blonde hair and bright green eyes. "Let's get started shall we" she smiled

We just got off for our lunch break and I opened up my phone a smile creeping onto my face

I sent them both quick replies and locked my phone
"Hey, y/n? Do you want to get some lunch with us?" Anayah asked sweetly
"Thank you, but I'm going to lunch with Alex. How about tomorrow?" I asked
"Yeah sure, have fun" she smiled and walked off with Gabe. I grabbed my stuff and started my walk to where I was meeting up with Alex for lunch I put my earbuds in and listened to music on shuffle. I smiled as Show Stopping Number started playing. About 10 minutes later I got to the little cafe we were gonna eat at and saw Alex sitting at a table
"Hey sorry, I had to walk" I pulled my ear buds out of my ears
"I could of picked you up"
"Walkings good for me" I smiled as we talked while eating about what we each had been up to during the year and a half I was away from new York
"So you're dating... the guy in the grey wig... with the hip jiggles?" He asked and I laughed
"Yes precisely" I looked at the time on my phone "I have 15 minutes. We better go" I said and he nodded paying the check then dropping me off at the theatre

I flopped down on the bed and took off my shoes looking at the blisters formed by my character shoes
"Been a while since wearing heels huh?" Derek asked from the door way
"Yeah, I wore flats when I was originally on Hamilton" I huffed
"I brought you some towels" he said and tossed them into my bed
"Are you trying to say I smell bad" I laughed
"Maybe" he smirked and left the room. I rolled my eyes and decided to run myself a nice hot bath. I slowly lowered myself into the water. I let my muscles soak for a while and listened to music playing quietly through the bathroom. I layed my head back against the tile while When The Worlds At Stake played. I closed my eyes and took a deep breathe before dunking my head in the water so I could wash my greasy hair. When I finished I raised myself out of the water and grabbed a towel wrapping one around my body and another over my hair. I pulled some gym shorts and one of Roberts shirts that I stole from him out of the dresser and got changed. I brushed my damp hair and walked into the kitchen to make myself some dinner
"Hey there's pizza on the stove for you" Elycia said from the couch with Derek
"Thank you" I smiled and grabbed a few slices. I sat at the table and scrolled through twitter
'Y/nManion: Oh my god- I just saw Y/N and Alex Boniello outside a cafe in Times Square ahhh' with a picture attached to it
'You should of come to say hi' I replied and continue scrolling. I saw fan art of me and Rob and smiled retweeting it
My phone stayed going off and I answered it smiling as Robs face popped up
"Hey, did you just get off" I asked looking at his uniform shirt and his tired eyes
"Yeah" he yawned unlocking his car
"Hi Robert" Derek came up behind me
"Hi" he smiled
"We're heading to bed. Just put your dish in the sink when you're done" Derek said patting my back I nodded as they both walked up the stairs
"How was work" I asked biting into the pizza
"I- blew up oatmeal... again" he said and laughed starting his car
"You really gotta get better at making oatmeal hon" I smiled finishing my pizza
"Yeah yeah ok mom" he smiled "Chloe (another reader character :)) wants to know if she can come to opening night with me"
"Yeah, id love to see her again. I haven't seen her since The guy who didn't like musicals opening night" I smiled rubbing my tired eyes then setting my plate in the sink
"Great" he smiled focusing on the road
"Has it been 3 weeks yet?" I asked
"Love it's barely been a day" he chuckled and I groaned
"Longest 3 weeks of my life" I joked and we sat in comfortable silence as he drove home. And eventually fell asleep on FaceTime again
