*after the matinee*

"WE BROUGHT DINNER" I screamed walking into the theater. I set it on the table in the main room as everyone ran towards us grabbing what they ordered. We all sat at the table and talked about random stuff Robert on one side of me and Lauren on the other
"Hey Robert could you help me with something?" Joey asked
"Oh yeah for sure" he said and got up walking away with Joey and everyone immediately turned to me. My eyes widened
"What..." I said confused
"Soooo" Corey started
"What's going on with you and roobbeeerrt" nick put his chin on the palm of his hand leaning on the table
"We're just friends.." I stayed unsurely
"Sureeee" Lauren mocked sarcastically
"You all act like 12 year old girls" the lights flickered signaling thirty minutes and we all walked to our designated dressing rooms.
"But really. What's going on" Jamie said as we entered our shared dressing room
"Nothing really... I mean we've kissed.. and we hang out a lot. But he's never asked me out or anything. stupid I know, i guess i'm just a sucker.. for the cheesy actually asking out things" I said finishing up my makeup
"Maybe you should talk to him about it?" She said adjusting her Charlotte costume. I nodded and buttoned my blazer
"Maybe" I smiled we walked together to get our mics and she nudged me towards his dressing room. I sighed and knocked on the room he shared with Corey my mic in my hand
"Hey" he said and corey slid passed me presumably to collect his own mic
"Could you help me with my mic..." I said
"Yeah of course" he smiled standing up from his chair and standing in front of me
"Robert..." I said and looked up at him
"Yeah..." he said looking back at me
"What are we..." I asked quietly
"Well... I'd like if I could call you my girlfriend" he said and I smiled
"Really?" I asked
"Well yeah you're beautiful-" I cut him off and connected our lips he immediately kissed back grabbing onto my waist and pulling me closer. We pulled away and he smiled at me
"You have uh" I laughed and wiped the lipstick off his lips with my thumb he chuckled and grabbed onto my hands
"Come on love birds" Joey said walking passed the door. I pulled away and immediately helped him with his mic and slid mine into my shorts
"Let's go professor" I said and grabbed his hand walking to the wing. I looked out and saw Rhi. Once she saw me looking she smiled and waved excitedly. I immediately backed up so no one else saw me and got ready to perform

"Hi paul" I said
"Hi Melissa"
I looked over and saw Robert making faces at me and I almost lost character
"Are you planning on signing up for the company softball league" I said trying not to laugh
"No"
"Oh well it could be fun"
"Yeah... but I don't want to"
"Oh... well Mr. Davidson wants those reports on his desk by tomorrow" I said and skipped off. I ran to change and Robert watched from the corner already in his hot chocolate boy outfit
"Why aren't you working"
"I'm on vocal rest"
"What?"
"IM ON VOCAL- god damn it Emma now I need to go make a tea with honey ok oh my god" I walked off and Robert smiled at me "You're a cute nerd" I said and wiped off his shoulders then I ran off to put on my green peace outfit *does she have a name. Idek*
The show finished and I quickly let rhi through the stage door before fans noticed
"Thank you" she huffed out of breathe from running
"Yeah of course. I have to change" I lead her to my dressing room
"Hey y/n" Joey said walking out of his, Jon, and Jeff's dressing room
"Hey. This is my friend Rhi. Do you mind keeping her company while I change" I asked
"Not at all" he smiled. I nodded and ran off to change as quickly as humanly possible. I was sitting at the mirror wiping off my makeup when Robert came and sat behind me.
"Hey wanna go get dinner with me and Rhi?" I asked putting on a more neutral makeup look.
"Yeah sure" he said scrolling through his phone. I laughed at his smudged foundation
"Come here" I laughed and he stood up taking my seat. I put my knee in between his legs and started to wipe the foundation off his face he held onto my arms as I did so I looked into his eyes and leaned down into a kiss
"Eh hem" I heard
"Mom..." I said turning to her "um this is Robert..." I said
"He's to good for you." She said and I looked down slightly
"What happened to Rich" she asked
"I broke up with him a long tome ago. If you had ever answered your phone calls maybe you would know that"
"Don't use that tone of voice with me missy. I came here to support you"
"No you came here to be nosy in my life. If you really wanted to have support me. You would of showed up 6 years ago" I said and grabbed my stuff and Roberts hand. Pulling him behind me.
"Haha Hey y/n. Joeys gonna come to, is that fine"
"Yeah yeah. Let's just go. Please" I said and she saw the tears in my eyes
"Yeah. Let's go. Well meet you there."
I quick walked to the car pulling Robert behind me I jumped in and started to break down.
"Hey hey hey. It's ok. Shhh I'm here" he said pulling my into a hug and petting my hair "it's ok love...
