I let out a sigh and opened my eyes looking into the mirror in my dressing room and scanning my eyes around the room at all the pictures and decor. i adjusted the mic in my hair and wiped my sweaty hands on my dress standing up and walking out of the room and towards the stage. almost as if the world was moving in slow motion i looked around the theater i had come to love, but now dread being in. "hey" i felt a hand on my shoulder that pulled me out of my trance and saw Gabe he smiled and pulled me into a hug "tonights your night y/n/n" i smiled back and made my way backstage for show circle
"Happy trails, to you. Until we meet again, Happy trails to you. Until me we meet again" they all sang around me and i smiled sadly at them as tears formed in my eyes "Speech!" Gabe chanted "Umm. I'm bad at speeches. Just know I love you guys and I loved my time on the show. Thank you for all the support through everything." I smiled as the all pulled me into a group hug
I took a final bow holding tightly onto Gabe's hand and staring at Rob as he smiled at me happily. Next to him sat Alex, Darren, and Elycia. Tears cascaded down my eyes as our stage manager became speaking "Y/n, you are so amazing.. and such a strong girl... get over here" she grabbed my arm pulling me towards the front of the stage as they brought out flowers "Just because this is your last show at Hamilton... it's not goodbye" she smiled sadly at me as everyone cheered "Now I know, there are quite a few fans of yours in the audience.. and friends. So we would like to ask the audience to sing Happy trails to y/n, Yes again" she looked at me "I look gross" I laughed wiping my eyes "Alright... one, two, three" she said and the whole crowd as well as everyone on the stage sang happy trails in unison.

I wiped off my now ruined makeup after I changed out of costume. I took the last few photos off my mirror setting them in a box "You didn't think you could leave without a gift did you?" The other two Schuyler sisters, Gabe and some ensemble members stepped through the door "I hoped too" I smiled as they handed me a wrapped gift. I unwrapped it to see a frame with a picture from a curtain call

"We all wrote notes.. and put them inside the back of the frame" Gabe smiled "Thank you guys" I hugged them all individually "Hey Ms L/N" Charles knocked on the door "Yes sir" I smiled "I'm gonna miss ya kid" I smiled and hugged him "also some Australian dude is waiting for you" I laughed "Bye guys" I smiled and grabbed my box of stuff walked towards stage door. Cheers immediately erupted as I stepped out some fans were holding up a sign that said Farewell Y/n "You guysss" I smiled and hugged each one signing they're playbills and taking a picture "Ready?" Derek asked as Rob wrapped his arm around me taking the box "Yeah" I smiled and took one last look at the Richard Rogers theatre before we drove back to the house "Sooo... Hadestown tomorrow night?" Alex asked my eyes shot open "YES!" "You two have an obsession" rob laughed "8 tonys" I said and he nodded "That is true" "Reeve Carney... lord of all men" I said again "I mean.... " "No one can compete" "HEY!" Rob said laughing. I squished his cheeks "I mean besides you" I smirked and kissed his cheek "Sometimes" I add and the car burst into laughter
