(Sorry for keeping y'all waiting)

The first thing that happened that day after my mind stirred was me blinking to try and get some of the sleep out of my eyes. That didn't work so I tried to raise my arm to wipe them. Key word tried. Rob seemed dead to the world so I decided it would probably be best to let him sleep. Lifting myself up, I stumbled over to the window where I saw a tree in the park across the road. There were squirrels running up and down the tree that I ignored once (D/N) made him/herself know. Homecoming was coming up. Tomorrow, to be exact. The floorboards creaked behind my bent over form, petting the pup.
"Hey babe" said a gruff voice from behind me.
"Morning sweetheart" I got up and made my way to Roberts sleepy figure to wrap my arms around him, which he returned.
"How did you sleep (Y/N)?" I looked up.
"Soundly, I'm gonna make some breakfast. You want any?" Rob shrugged his shoulders.
"That depends on what you're making. I thought for a second and my mind, as per usual drifted to something weird like shrek or us storming Area 51. Something completely unrelated to the topic of breakfast. I forced my mind back to reality and smirked to myself.
"I'm makin' waffles!" He laughed and said
"I'll take 20" I replied with
"as you command good sir". With that, I made a start on the waffles. Whilst one was cooking in the mold I walked to the fridge and got the maple syrup, butter and jam out. I took the waffles out of the mold and went to the cupboard to get the Nutella. I turned back and cooked the last few waffles about 12 before I got the plates and set up the topping station. When I turned back around to get the knives and forks I saw Rob getting the...sprinkles...out of the cupboard. Not to mention the sprinkles all over his hands and face. I put my hands on my hips.
"Y/N it's not what it looks like." He pleaded, I shook my head.
"Really, because it looks a lot like you're in the pantry looking for sprinkles to put on top of your waffle." He looked at me with puppy eyes, sprinkles falling off of his chin every now and then. I spoke again "My only question is. Is there still enough for me?" His slightly terrified face turned to one of laughter.
"If you can catch me." With that he took off to the living room and jumped over the sofa, ran around the coffee table and made his way towards the bathroom near the entrance. I hadn't moved an inch.
"That seems like a lot of work, Rob. A completely unnecessary amount." I said laughing.
"Y/N come on, you have to chase me. I look like an idiot." I nodded in response whilst taking my seat to put some syrup on my waffles.
"No more than you do normally hon." Rob popped his head around the corner with a hurt expression that turned to panic when he saw I had started on the waffles.
"Y/N! WHAT ARE YOU DOING STOP!" I looked up, slightly surprised at his sudden outburst.
"I'm eating." Which came out as more of an 'umh etenm' considering I'd stuffed a whole waffle in my mouth. Rob laughed before putting a waffle on his plate, dousing it in mounds of chocolate spread, sprinkles, syrup, honey, bananas and...vanilla essence?
"Okay Rob, that's where I draw the line." I say, jerking his hand away from the waffle before he was able to pour the vanilla on his waffle. "You're simply not having any of that. End of discussion" To say he has a sweet tooth is an understatement.
Once, we went out to get pizza and he got a kids pizza, which is fine but unusual since he usually has enough pizza to last a normal person a week. I then came back after finishing our meal and going to the bathroom and he'd ordered every.single.dessert.item.on.the.menu. We had to take most of it home in boxes because we'd be there all night. Me, waiting for him to finish what I couldn't. Which was most of it. The bill was horrendous. Rob snapped me out of my thoughts when he asked
"What's on the agenda for today?" I replied with
"Not much...but we do have to go into town to get some outfits for homecoming, I need to take D/N out for a walk" I said, motioning to the bundle of sleeping fluff on the sofa. "After we get the outfits I need to prepare our humble abode for the party planners because Joey is moving into Rhi's full time and she's going all ou-" I tried to finish but Rob interrupted me.
"The...party planners?" I interjected
"Yeah, they're all personal friends of Rhi's. We've got Darren's sister, Harmony, Jeff's sister, Kiki and Lauren's wife, Adrianne. They're apparently really lovely, they became friends years ago and started a party planning business together." Rob looked like he was contemplating things and he said.
"Ohhhkayyyyyyy. I'm gonna walk D/N quickly. You can get ready to go out into town if you want." I had other thoughts, though.
"Actually, I think D/N wants to go with me so I'll see you later." I said with humor and sarcasm dripping off my voice. I got up and walked past the sofa to get the pooch's leash.
"Ah ah, no you don't!" Rob said, laughing. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards him. I tripped on my feet slightly and stumbled into him, pushing him and I onto the sofa. He was looking up at me caringly and I was just laughing.
"Rob, what are you doing?" I continued to laugh.
"Admiring you, (Y/N)." I stopped, my breath hitched in my throat and I stared right back into his eyes. My hand, roaming his cheek, stroking his ever so slight stubble.
"Don't be silly, Rob. You're too  lovely." I started to blush. It's funny how even though I had been dating him for 8 months
"Honestly love, I'm never enough for what you've done for me. I'll never be able to give you enough love so I will give you my love for the rest of my life. I'll never stop for as long as you love me." I know for a fact that I love him.
"Forever." I say. He pulls me in for a tight embrace and we hold each other for a while. I push away slightly so I can see his peaceful face, gazing upon mine. I reach down. Leaning into him. He stops me before I can reach his face.
"Y/N, love." He replies, sounding slightly rushed, juxtaposed to my calm demeanor.
"Yes, love" I say, mimicking him.
"Y/N, we need to be at rehearsals in 26 minutes." I checked my watch, my face contorting with panic.
"Oh sh—"

(oot)

~Time skippedy doo dah to them going to the theatre because I'm on a time crunch I'm so sorry to everyone out there who wanted a rehearsal chapter, sorry for typing so much ahh~

"Rob, don't be nervous. You look stunning."
I say pointing my finger at his shirt. He looks up from his lap where he was twiddling his fingers.
"Thank you, but I'm okay. I'm just nervous about literally nothing because I'm with you." I looked at him and rested my head against his. The taxi driver spoke up and said
"We're here." Now it was my turn to become nervous.
"There are so many people outside. I'm supposed to be used to it but this isn't like Hamilton and I'm just acting as myself. Not a character." Robert tried to calm me down.
"You know why you're here though. Instead of a character?" I shook my head. "it's because you're better than any character ever created. You make them smile" he motioned towards the fans outside "more than any character could. Most of all, I love you more than I could love any character." I grinned widely and felt myself fill up with an emotion that could only be classified as true love.
"Shut up you dork, let's go and greet some people." We exited the cab and immediately about 150 fans spotted us. I heard praise from every angle. Starkid fans are incredibly respectful people though, they all waited for us to come to them rather than bombarding us all at once. I saw a little girl, she was probably around the age of 8. I decided to go up to her first.
"I loved the song where you told people to save the world." I smiled gratefully and said.
"You're so sweet. Thank you for watching our musical." Her father chimed in.
"I only let her watch a small portion of it. She's not going into watch the performance, she really wanted to meet you." I felt myself well up and saw that Robert was walking over. The small girl looked at him with anger dotted over her face.
"Your musical with the boys almost got Emma killed." Robert looked shocked for a moment and told her.
"I'm really sorry. If it makes you feel any better, the professor and the green
-peace girl became best friends." The girl smiled and we said goodbye, greeting, signing autographs and taking pictures with many more people before we went inside.
"You're wonderful with kids, Rob." I complimented. He looked slightly confused before trying to correct me.
"No, you're wonderful with kids." I looked up at him and smiled.
"I know" I chirped before entering the theatre with a bounce in my step, looking to Rob so he could catch up. When he finally did so, I pecked him on the lips and went through the 'BACKSTAGE DOOR', leaving a red, flustered boy in the corridor. Smiling from ear to ear.

Hey it me. Ya girl. Eve wrote this. With slight corrections from me. We decided not to go too deep into homecoming details because. Neither of us went so we don't know what happened... I do know that robs shirt. Was great. And I loved it.
