Denise's Point Of View.
"Where do I place this batch Undertaker?" I ask him in quite a raspy voice, referring to the dozen of coffins behind me.
"You'll have to wait for a short while Denise, the next cargo will be arriving soon to pick them up and load them into the cruise." Undertaker stated, lightly booping the tip of my nose with his long black fingernail. Which has always irritated me.
"What's the name of this huge, fancy cruise ship again?" I asked, leaning on one of the coffins as I try desperately to not close my eyes and drift off. We'd been almost been up all night preparing all of the coffins for pick-up. I just wanted some good, blissful sleep.
Undertaker chuckled at my forgetfulness, shaking his head slightly.
"The cruise ship where we'll be conducting our first 'social' experiment is on..."
"The Campania."
(Y/n)'s Point Of View.
"Whoa." I breathed out at the abnormal amount of fated ones on my to-die list for this week.
This was way too much! Christ there better be at least 70% added to my paycheck by the end of the week!
"Will this is way too much! How am I supposed to collect all these souls in one day!" I exclaim, raising up my list in front of the man's poker face.
He sighs deeply at my complaint, "You're not the only one with an insane amount of people on the to-die list (Y/n). Apparently Knox and Sutcliffe were given almost forty souls to collect earlier in their list. Not to mention that I have at least fifty-three in mine, and that a lot of paperwork I have to sort."
"It's too much Willykins! A fair maiden such as me can't possibly handle such torture inflicted upon her!" Grell whined, bringing a gloved hand to their chest.
"I'm not your 'Willykins.' Sutcliffe, and you're not some fair maiden either. This is a job we must complete, so I'm not in the mood for hearing any of your petty complaints."
Ronald sadly huffed as he read over the list, "There goes my blind date for tomorrow, and after that..." He states, however muttering the last few words underneath his breath.
I groan in frustration and I took a second look at the list again my eyebrows then furrowing at something, Grell noticed the change in and followed at what I was doing out of curiosity, then noticing that all of the ones on the to-die list are all from the same location.
"The Campania..." Grell and I mutter out breathlessly, isn't the Campania this huge cruise ship that can fit over almost a thousand people? Ugh we would certainly need an entire week off after this insane task.
"Why yes, that's what I've noticed. It's said in the information that the Campania will sink due to some unknown forces. Most of the victims have died either by suffocation, drowning, head trauma, heart attack and blood loss." Will stated, as he was also scanning through his list along with me.
"Details aside, Sutcliffe and Knox will collect the souls from inside the cruise as you and I will collect the souls from outside and those who are submerged in the sea." He continued, his thick framed glasses flickering from the light.
"I hope we're perfectly clear on that." Will sternly said, expecting everyone to agree with the plan. Which of course doesn't happen.
"Oh Willy!! Of course it isn't! Why do I have to be paired up with this kid?" Grell complains, furiously pointing his long finger to Ronald who just playfully scoffed in reply.
"I told you earlier Sutcliffe that I won't be tolerating any of your complaints." Will reminded them, his eyes narrowing at Grell's constant whining.
"This will be our final decision." Will stated bluntly to the three reapers in front of him, placing his list in his suit pocket.
"The Campania will set sail tomorrow, I suggest that you three prepare. It'll be a long day ahead of us."
"Tomorrow's events will most certainly be tragic."
