Revelations pt. 2

-Theo's POV-

Despite waking up early, singing in front of a group of people, and then sleeping for a few hours, I had a really fun time with Daveed at the theatre.

Lin didn't ask me weird questions about liking Daveed. I got to meet Leslie and Johnathan and I got to see Anthony again. I also now have Leslie, Anthony, and Johnathan's phone numbers.

Finally, Daveed came out of his dressing room and we said our goodbyes to everyone and left.

"So, I hope you weren't too bored today." Daveed says as we walk towards the train station.

"No way! I had fun. Singing with Anthony was really fun and Groff and Leslie are both super nice. Lin didn't ask me a million questions and I got free breakfast and coffee. Today was definitely a great day." I tell him, laughing as we walk down the stairs towards the subway platform.

"That's good. I'm glad you like some of my cast mates." He laughs, wrapping an arm around my shoulder as I wrap an arm around his waist.

I pull out my phone and start a group chat with Groff, Leslie, Daveed, and Anthony.

"Hai frens!" I text, laughing to myself.

"What's funny?" Daveed asks as his phone dings.

"I'm standing right next to you, T." Daveed responds to my text and I laugh and look up at him to see that he's already looking at me.

"Don't judge me." I laugh.

"Not judging." He says as the train comes and we get on.

"Is it bad that I'm still tired even though I took a nap?" I ask.

"I don't know. How long did you nap for?" Daveed asks in return.

"Like two and a half hours." I tell him and he laughs.

"Rehearsal was like 5 hours. Why did you stay in my dressing room?" Daveed asks me and I laugh.

"I didn't know I was allowed to come out." I say quietly and Daveed laughs.

"Theo! You were sitting in there for like two and a half hours doing nothing. You didn't have to stay in there." He tells me and I shrug.

We get off of the train and walk back to our apartment building. I've been texting Anthony and Leslie most of the way back.

By time we got back to the building it was about 3:30pm and we take the elevator up to our floor. We make our way to my apartment and I let Daveed use his key to open my door.

"So, movie and something to eat?" I ask and he nods.

I head to the kitchen and make us both some sandwiches and bring them back to living room and set them down.

"I'll be back, I'm gonna go shower and then change." I tell him as he takes a bite into his sandwich. He hums in response and I go to my room.

I pull out some pajamas and then go to my bathroom and hop in the shower. I take about 5 minutes in the shower and then get dressed. I check my phone and see that I have a message from Leslie.

"Don't tell Daveed that I told you, but he likes you." Leslie said and I smile.

"Well, I guess it's a good think I like him too." I respond and walk back into the living room, smirking.

"What's that look on your face?" Daveed asks and I raise my eyebrow.

"What look?" I ask him.

"You're smirking. Why are you smirking?" He says and I laugh.

"I may or may not know a secret." I laugh and he looks at me confused.

I join him on the couch and eat my sandwich.

"Do you mind if I go grab some clothes and shower here?" Daveed asks and I shake my head.

"Feel free. You're here most of the time anyways." I tell him as I grab my phone again as he walks out of my apartment.

I hop up, putting the plates in the kitchen and then run to my room and call Anthony. After about 3 rings, he picks up.

"Hey, Theo. What's up?" He answers and I laugh.

"Hi, Ant. Leslie told me a secret. You can't tell Daveed I told you, but apparently he told Leslie that he likes me." I tell Anthony and I hear him laughing on the other end.

"I already knew that. It was obvious to me from the first day I met you. He was so pissed at Lin, I knew he liked you." Anthony informs me and I can't help but smile.

"Well, I may or may not like him back." I say and I can hear Anthony jumping up and down.

"You have to tell him Theo! Oh my God. This is amazing." Anthony says and I laugh. I hear my front door open and close.

"Hey, I gotta go. He just walked back into my apartment." I tell Anthony.

"Okay. Tell him! I'll talk to you later. Text me." He responds and I laugh as I hang up.

I walk back into the living room, smiling.

"Why do you look like you're up to something?" Daveed asks and I shrug my shoulders.

"Wanna know the secret that I know?" I ask him and he raises his eyebrow and then nods.

"A little birdie told me that you like me." I say, smiling at Daveed's panicked face.

"Oh my God! Was it Javi or Leslie?! I'm gonna kill them. I'm so sorry. I understand if you don't feel the same way but you're just-" He's now obviously panicked and speaking really fast. I cut him off, covering his mouth with my hand.

"Shut up. You don't need to apologize, Daveed." I say, pulling my hand away from his mouth and he nods.

"I like you too. Stop freaking out." I say, noticing how panicked he still looks.

As I tell him that I like him, he looks at me and smiles.

"Really?" He asks, smiling widely.

"Yes, now get your ass in the shower and then get dressed so we can watch a movie." I tell him, laughing as I plop down on the couch.
