It was 4 in the morning when I ran to the bathroom to throw-up. I was fine the day before, but took a turn over night. On my way back to my room, I felt very light headed, and fell with a THUD. I heard Chris call my name then rush over to me, and help me up.
"Are you okay?" He asked worried.
"I don't feel so good." I said shaking my head, before I ran into the bathroom to throw up again. Chris looked extremely worried. He carried me back to my bed and took my temperature. He left and came back with a bucket for me to throw up in, and some medicine.
"I don't like seeing you like this." He said stroking my forehead. He was a new parent and I was his little girl and wanted me to be happy.
When he left the room, I heard him on the phone to someone, asking them what he should do to help me get better. I could tell he was panicked. His head popped back into my room. When he walked in he was carrying a huge fluffy white blanket which he wrapped around me.
"You look like a marshmallow." He chuckled, bringing me more tissues since I had been sneezing constantly. "I'm going to make you some soup" He announced, before walking off into the kitchen.
Chris came back into my room with a bowl of soup.
"Here you go marshmallow."
I hated soup, but Chris said it would make him sad if I didn't eat the soup he had made just for me. I ended up throwing most of it up anyway. Chris managed to take my temperature again.
"It's getting better." He sighed sitting on my bed.
"What if you get sick because of me daddy?" I asked him, my voice croaky.
"Don't worry marshmallow, your all that matters."
