Chris' pov
I hadn't got to be on set today, and so I was at home. Alone. Usually, I would have Louise to keep me company, but not today. I felt like I was more stressed then she was. So, to pass the time. I went to work-out at the gym. Her favourite song started playing on my playlist and I got a bit emotional. When I arrived back home, there was an hour left before I had to pick her up from school. I decided to bake some cookies that we could eat together when she got home.
1 hour later
I walked up to the school. Nervous to find out how Louise had gotten on, but excited to see her again. I had on my hat and sunglasses, but people still recognised me and wanted to take pictures, which I happily agreed to. It wasn't long until I felt somebody tapping me. I looked down to see Louise, a bright smile covering her face. I picked her up and hugged her tightly.
"I'm so happy to see you." She cheered, as I placed her back on the ground.
"Me too." I replied, taking her hand and guiding her to the car.
Once we were in the car I started asking her lots and lots of questions.
"Were you good for your teachers? Did you make new friends? Did you miss me?"
"Yes, yes and no" She giggled in response.
"No?" I repeated teasingly
"I'm only joking daddy. I missed you a lot. I started crying but then I started playing and I was happy again."
It broke my heart that my little girl missed me so much she was crying, and I couldn't do anything about it. But she's back now.
"Guess what!" I laughed quickly turning to face Louise.
"What?" She responded excited
"I. Made. Cookies."
