Their Encounter With Fate

Chapter 17

Only a month left for Noor's exams to start, and her heart is beating thinking of the time which flies fast.

Both the families already started to decide the date for their wedding, they are waiting for the day when they can finalize the date. "Why they are in hurry", she thought every time she hears her parents speak of her wedding, "are they tired of me already?"tears well up in her eyes each time she hears them.

Shabaz is leading his own misery life, he never in his life thought, he would be facing this sadness in his life thinking over a girl whom he only saw a few times in life.

Love can make u crazy!

Nowadays he chose not to go home early, even if he does, both his mom and brother start with the wedding discussion which eventually annoys him.

Laying in this bed, looking up at the ceiling, he thought, can he ever love the girl whom his family chose? every time he thinks, guilt overtakes in his heart, "it would be bad for her to have me in her life when I can't reciprocate the love if she showers on me, maybe this decision of marrying her going to ruin both of our lives," he thought.

"Today we are going to finalize the date of your wedding" mom informed him while he munching his breakfast, he just hummed in response.

"SHABAZ, I AM TALKING TO YOU, today u have to come with us, and it's final" this time she said bit loudly, Shahad nudged his brother's hand to answer their mom, Shabaz nodded agreeing to it.

Back at the Ibrahim mansion, Noor already left to college to collect all the necessary materials for the exam which is coming in less than a month.

Bilal dropped her to the college, and while returning he got a call from Shahad saying they are coming over to his house.

Bilal and his dad greeted and welcomed them inside, Safiya, Shabaz's mom went inside leaving the men in the living room. She is a bit emotional and missing her husband when their elder son is going to get married, he would have been here with them, but, Allah loved him more.

Saying salam, Fathima, Noor's mom hugged her, they both started with their never-ending talks, after the proposal these two went well together like long lost best friends.

Finally, the date for the wedding is finalized, Shabaz already told his mom he wants a simple wedding.

"WHAT," Noor's mouth hangs open in shock when her brother announced the wedding date. Oh, Allah, How can they do that, without asking me for once, I want time, her heart screamed but only she could hear.

The whole day she sat in her room, not talking to anyone, she is scared of her life, she is not ready for the marriage so early, she needed time, she just wanted time to stop, she wants to live in present with her family, and not ready to leave her family. She cried until sleep took over.

"No arguments, Maryam, you are coming with me," Noor sternly said to her best friend holding her hand firmly when Maryam refused to go with her.

It's been a few weeks, Maryam feels some sort of guilt, thinking it maybe burden for Bilal for always dropping her at her place taking a different direction from his place. So today she thought to go by herself, though she is very used to go with them. Noor being stubborn didn't let her go alone,  dragged her together and Maryam left with no choice, had to go with them.

Maryam could feel his gaze in the rear-view mirror during their journey every time, but she would always shrug it thinking she is overthinking and Bilal would never do that, deep down her heart wished if he did.

Maryam thought she had some sort of feelings for Shabaz, but time passed by she understood its just the attraction and the work of Shaitan during Sarah's wedding.
Each time her mind thinks, what if she truly gets married to him one day? What if attraction turns into love? Can it be? But deep down she knew he is not meant for her, for unknown reasons which she couldn't find. "Maybe I have no idea of what my heart wants", she thought.

Bilal saw her through the rear-view mirror, he carries her in his heart safely for years without letting anyone know, she is near to him yet so far.

Will I ever make her mine? will she ever able to see my heart how much love I have stored for her? Will she ever look into my eyes which reflects much love for her. Gosh! I love her so much! Bilal drifted from his dreamland when his sister told him that he took a different direction to Maryam's house. Her thoughts can lead me to any direction, oh, silly me! He chuckled lightly.

Somewhat Noor noticed her brother chuckling and staring the rear-view mirror time to time, she shrugged it thinking he may be noticing the car behind them.

She is fighting her own battles going on her mind, didn't think too much about her brother's weird behaviour.

Three minds fighting with their own battles, their own misery and their own problems under one car.

One strong heart craved for her to notice his love.

One confused heart is not sure of her feelings.

One little heart is beating thinking of her life after she gets married to the one whom her heart is not willing to accept. 

One heart from the other one of the world, drowning deep into the ocean of sadness, who struggle hard to forget the hazel eyes which drives him crazy.

Will these hearts find peace?
