Hello, my name is Denise Kirkman, and this is my story. It all started on 16th of June 1989, you see I'm a science teacher. And as a near end of year treat I took my year three students to Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria, an unnerving establishment but the children loved playing with the surprisingly realistic animatronic characters.
After paying for all the students I let them run around and play in the ball pit before the show began, while I waited at the 'parent zone' where all the children were told to come if they had any problems. After around ten minutes I noticed something slightly odd, most of the staff seemed to be looking at the large, velvet, closed curtains of the stage as if they were watching out for something. Before I could think about the matter any further, one of the students ran up to me. A small chestnut haired girl named Lauren. "Ummm, Mrs Kirkman, the show's about to start." "Oh thank you Lauren, I'll come over and count you all now". I proceeded to count all the children before gesticulating to one of the staff that we were all ready, the lights around us dimmed down, and the curtains raised slowly.
On the stage I could make out the outlines of those three characters from the posters, Chica, Freddy and the rabbit, who's name escapes me, they stood there with their eyes closed and remained motionless. Suddenly three spotlights flashed on the robots and they began to whir into life, the animatronics themselves were quite impressive, they interacted with each other and I thought it was all just well done scripting until they addressed the children themselves. What really surprised me was when they got off of there pedestals and started playing follow the leader with the children...
