I couldn't sleep. Who could after everything that had happened in that horrific day? Too many questions floated around my head, how did all the staff know how to react to this situation so smoothly? How could animatronics even move that precisely? Was he targeting her for a reason? Why didn't he go after me? But most importantly, why did he smile? The smile .... Oh god .... The smile, it wasn't a sinister smile, that's what got me. He didn't smile at the sight of my shock or the fact he'd just bitten the frontal lobe out of one of my children, he did it because he thought it was right, he had sincere intent in his eyes .... Wait .... I sat up in bed and turned the lamp on before thinking for a bit. I twiddled my hair as I always did in a time of frustration before falling back to the mattress, his eyes... They were blue, a nice blue like the pure crystalline blue of a glistening lake, but there was something wrong that I hadn't figured out yet. Just then I yawned and realised how tired I'd gotten all of a sudden, my eyes drooped, I felt around for the lamp switch with them closed and drifted off to sleep.
