After around ten minutes of 'fun' with the children the characters said their goodbyes and went back to the stage where the curtains dropped over them, submerging the room into darkness. I don't know what it was but at that point i got a tingling sensation as if i knew something was about to happen, and that i'd have mixed feelings about it. Off to the far right of the room, a wave sound effect came blaring out of speakers on the walls along with a sort of ran down version of Drunken Sailor. a purple star covered curtain rose slowly to reveal a large set lay out in a pirate theme, a wooden 2D boat was propped in the middle with a small semi circle stage up front. The stage was layered with sand and two large plastic palm trees stood either side, what really stood out however was the hearty laugh that seemed to emanate from the walls themselves. Then he stepped out, at first all i saw was a red furred arm poking around the corner with a large metal hook, which reflected the spotlight's beams, then slowly his whole body emerged, covered in red fur with a rugged look to his slightly less mechanical face, he had pointed ears and a sly but tender smile, he wore an eye patch over his right eye and had an energetic movement to him, but also unexpected as if he would jump at you at any moment. "Ahoy there mateys!" he bellowed in a happy pirate tone that didn't sound as robotic as i'd expected it to be. "How 'bout ye filthy landlubbers play a lil' game with old Foxy, eh?" All the children adored him they sat intently as he explained the rules of 'Foxy's find' basically it was a game of tag but you also had to find laminated pictures of treasure chests hidden under tables and beind doors, one was even stuck to Foxy's back which all the children found hilarious. After that fun little activity all the children sat at the brightly coloured tables at the other end of the hall for pizza. They were all sat busily talking and eating, completly oblivious to their suroundings. It was a good job to, because then...it happened.
