Chapter 7

Mike's POV

"Yeah, I'm busy!" I say, pushing the antenna down.

Y/n and Will fell asleep in my room so I decided to try and contact El again. I thought I had heard her but it was just Dustin.

I hear footsteps coming from down the stairs. "Mike, Jonathan is here picking me and Will up. I just wanted to come down here and say bye." I stand up and go to Y/n. I hug her and I cry a little bit.

She rubs my back and kisses my head. "What's wrong, Mike?" She asks quietly.

I pull away from her and my throat dries up as a year runs down my cheek.

She wipes the tear away and I nod, knowing she already knows.
"I'm sure she is fine Mike! She probably misses you a whole lot!" Y/n says as I laugh a little bit.

We walk up the stairs, our hands brushing as we walk to the front door.

"I'll see you at school tomorrow?" I yell at y/n and Will and they both nod.

I head up the stairs and I get ready for bed.

Eleven's POV

I take the blind fold off as tears begin to poor out of my eyes. I'm gonna see him tomorrow, even if I risk mine and Hopper's life. I just want to see Mike. That is what I will do.

The next day

After Hopper leaves, it's around 7. I go back into my room after our trippledecker Eggo extravaganza. That was really good though! I wait around, watching T.V until around 3 pm. Then I get ready to leave. I get my coat on and I head out the door.

I meet a child and a mother at a swinging device.

"Sweetie? Are you lost? Where's your mother?" They woman asks

"Where is school?" I ask, with determination in my eyes.

"About a mile that way.. Are you okay?" I use my powers to make the device to crazy, causing their attention to leave me. I quickly go.

I walk up to a bike rack and I see Mike's bike.

"Mike." I whisper to myself as a tear falls down my cheek.

I walk around the entire school when I hear Mike in the big 'gym' room.

I look through the window to see Mike and two other girls, one of them touching Mike.

One of them rides their long thing with wheels and I use my powers to knock her down. Mike and the other girl help her up. The one girl holds Mike's hand and I run, crying slightly.

y/n's POV

I hold Mike's hand as he is hit with realization.

"It was El!" He says to me, quietly as he runs out the door. I go over to Max to make sure she is okay.

Mike comes back and his super comm goes off and Will starts talking. We all run over to where he is. Dustin is there already.

"Where's Dart?" Max asks.

"Where's Will?" Me and Mike ask in unison.

We all go around looking for him. Mike goes ahead of us.

We meet my mom in the middle of the hallway.

"Where's Will?" She asks and we all shrug.

Lucas comes running in grabbing our attention.

"Will. He's out in the field!" He says running back out the door. We all go after him. Will stands in the middle and Mike is right next to him. Will won't open his eyes and me and my mom start to tear up. Mike grabs my hand and squeezes it tightly.

I look up at him and see him looking at me. I mouth "I love you" as a hot tear rolls down my cheek. Mike squeezes my hand harder. My mom keeps shaking Will and finally he opens his eyes with an intense gasp.
