Chapter 10

Today is the day. Today I tell everyone my secret. I'm telling Will, Dustin, Lucas, Max, Bob, Jonathan, Nancy, and even Hopper! The only people who know is mom and Mike, and they are gonna be with me as I tell everyone as support. This is extremely hard for me since I don't like this power.

I wait as everyone quietly walks through Mike's basement door. Everyone gathers around me as I am sitting on one of the couches. Mike holds my hand tightly as Mom sits there.

"I know none of you will believe me, but I feel as if you guys deserve to know." I look down and my fangs reveal themselves. My eyes water up and Mike pulls me into a caring side hug. I look up and show an awkward smile.

"Vampire." Max says. "That's why at Halloween you had fangs one second then the methadone you didn't then you had them again!" She continues.

"No one asked for you to speak Max." Mike barks to Max. "Ouch." Jonathan says, everyone let's put a small chuckle except for me.

Another tear rolls down my cheek as I mess with the friendship bracelet Ethan got me, him, Benny, and Sarah for Christmas last year. I smile at all the memories.

Flashback

"Ethan!" I yell as Benny throws his new toy at Ethan's face .

"Ow! Benny!" Ethan whimpers. We all laugh and continue to open our presents.

Me, Benny, and Sarah open a small box from Ethan at the same time. Bracelets of our favourite colours on. A small charm attached says BSFF. "BSFF? What does that mean!" Sarah asks

" Best Supernatural Fighting Friends. " Ethan explains to Sarah.

The other charms was all the weapons we had used in the past. Light saber tanning bed things, holy water guns, special blades, magic pom poms, etc. We all get super excited to see we all have the same bracelets, even Ethan had one!

End of Flashback

My eyes shoot open and I sit up, quickly, gasping for air. Mike pulls me into a soft hug.

"Y/n, are you okay?" Mike asks. I look around to see everyone has left. "Y-yeah." I stutter as soft tears begin to fall.

Mike holds me against to him as a rain shower of tears begin to pour. I lay my head on Mike's shoulder and he holds me tighter.

"I miss them, Mike." I whisper in between sobs. " I know, y/n. "

"Where did everyone go?" I ask, wiping the salt water off my face. "What do you mean? It's been us for almost an hour waiting for everyone to show up!" Mike explains to me.

That makes no sense. I remember hearing and seeing and feeling everyone. "You're lying." I say, confidently.

"Yeah I am!" He says, with that same sweet giggle he has had for the past few months. I smile and look at my bracelet again.

"Did one of them get that for you?" Mike asks touching the charms. I shoot my hand away and nod.

"Ethan got it for me, Sarah, and Benny." I tell Mike, irritated at his actions.

"What happened though? Like why was I asleep?" I ask as the same sharp pain from before hits my head.

"Knock it off, bitch." I whisper, angrily, so Mike doesn't head me. El is trying to hurt me again. I can destroy her in one punch. She thinks she is so much stronger... Ethan was stronger than he thought.

"You were crying, hard. You started to breathe heavily and you passed out. Everyone thought is was smart to leave so when you woke up, I could be here to comfort you." Mike explains to me.

"Oh." I whisper. "I should probably get home. We have school tomorrow." I say to Mike, a little embarrassed.

"Oh.. Do you want me to walk you home?" Mike asks.

"Sure." I say, tiredly.

Me and Mike walk out the door and we begin to walk to my house.

Once we arrive, me and Mike say bye and he leaves. Nothing really happened. It was just very awkward.

I walk into my room and plop down on my bed. I soon fall asleep.
