A teenage Izuku Midoriya rushed down the road; determined to get to the battle currently going on in the centre of town before it ended. He stumbled down the main road, not caring about the puddles he was rushing through or the fact that his feet were soaked.
Midoriya slowed down slightly, chocking on the air making its way into his chest causing him to trip and fall on his face. At this rate, he was not going to make it.
He stood up and dusted himself off still trying to catch his breath, he would have thought that after all that running away from Kachan he would at least be able to get there without collapsing but he guessed he was wrong... He was too weak.
It looked like he would have to take a short-cut in order to make it to the centre of town in time, he had heard rumours of a new hero debuting today and was adamant that he would not miss seeing them for the first time. He turned around and headed down the road in the direction where he came from. There should be a back ally that leads to the centre of town somewhere near. He walked with a quick pace towards what he thought was the ally, sighing when he found it was.
He cautiously walked forward into the darkness.
Now, Izuku Midoriya was not one for being scared of the dark however, the number of villain ambushes that had taken place in a back ally shown on the news made him cautious of his surrounding. In times he was scared it helped Midoriya to think about All Might. All Might, the number one hero, who entered every battle with a smile and had saved many lives, in spite of the fact that Midoriya did not have a quirk he still desperately wanted to be just like him; to be a hero.
Trying to impersonate All Mights laugh he continued down the ally, feeling slightly less concerned.
A sound behind him awakened him from his daze, looking behind him Midoriya gasped, blocking the way he came was a wall of slime, the gooey monster laughed menacingly at the look of pure terror pictured on Midoriys face.
"A-a vi-villain!" Midoriya whispered to himself as if he was, in fact, confirming it.
"You'll make a perfect skin suit for me to hide in kid."
