The week passed quickly leaving Midoriya only a few hours to figure out how he was going to pass an entrance exam to U.A. without a quirk or any means to defeat villains. And yet he was still determined to try, his constant thinking about what had happened all those months ago had come to an end the memories were no more than a bad dream.

The investigations about what happened to the two boys had concluded that they had been kidnapped and they were no longer looking for them, leaving Midoriya in the clear. Now his main focus was to pass the entrance exam... or try to at least. Although it wasn't like there was anyone he would let down if he didn't manage to get in, it had been his dream for forever and he was not about to let go of that fact.

Standing outside of U.A. high school's hero course Midoriya's breathing quickened, this was it, this is what he had wanted to do his whole life he wasn't about to back out now. Graduating from U.A. is a requirement for becoming a great hero.

I will take the first step towards my dream of becoming a hero.

Walking forward Midoriya gazed up at the building, daydreaming about his future. He was rudely interrupted when someone pushed him only to find it was Kacchan. "Outta my way, Deku," he snarled.

"K-kacchan!"  Midoriya replied weakly, trying to regain his balance.

"Don't stand in front of me. I'll kill you." The older boy growled again, glaring at Midoriya as if he was nothing but a mere insect.

Stumbling again Midoriya backed away "M-moring. L-lets both do our best..." he stammered as Kacchan stomped away.

Letting out a large breath that Midoriya hadn't realized he'd been holding he continued his walk towards the building his mind wandering. Being the clutz that Midoriya was he managed to trip over his own leg only a few seconds later, however instead of falling flat on his face, a girl stopped him by using her quirk. "Are you all right?" She asked sweetly as he hung limply in midair, Midoriya nodded as she helped him free, while doing so she apologized for using it without asking but explained that she thought it would be bad luck if he fell. Midoirya thanked her quickly before stepping forward once more, careful not to make a fool of himself once more.

Standing outside of Battle Centre B Midoriya couldn't help his shaking legs as everyone gazed in awe at the large city like battle zone. Thinking back to the briefing the aforementioned couldn't help wishing he had some cool quirk or at least a weapon to fight with.

-

"As it says in the application requirements, you listeners will be conducting ten-minute mock urban battles after this!" The hero Present Mic yelled at the congregation of possible students seated in the hall. "Three different types of faux villains are stationed in each battle center. You earn points for each of them based on their level of difficulty." As he said that 3 pictures appeared on the screen behind him, each with either 1p, 2p or 3p underneath. "Your goal, dear listeners, is to use your quirks to earn points by immobilizing the faux villains."

Mock battles... How is everyone so confident, Aren't they nervous? Thoughts such as these filled the poor boys head erasing any sense of calm from his mind. Some of the people even had the equipment to aid their quirks, giving Midoriya even more of a disadvantage.

Another thing that worried him was the villain worth 0p which was an obstacle in every center. Even the hero Present Mic recommended that they should avoid it meaning that it was quite dangerous.

Spotting that the girl from earlier was in his Battle center Midoriya was filled with new determination. He would survive the test, and become the number one hero!

Grammarly was so annoying while I wrote this like what do you mean Midori as?! It's Midoriya's!  And no it's not kitchen its Kacchan! Anyway, it's over now, things should be getting more interesting next chapter! 😉

I'll try to update once more tomorrow!
