Chapter 2: Encounter

Lisa's POV
Today's my first day of school. It's already been a couple months since school started and I had to move here from Thailand due to my dad's job. I hope that this school is nice. I went to school thinking about everything that's happened during the summer. Me moving to South Korea was hard but I hope I'll meet new people here. I was going to be late to school. I was running so fast that I wasn't paying attention and-

*THUMP*

"Oh no I'm so sorry! I didn't see-" I started to apologize but I got cut off. "It's okay. I'm just trying to get to school" The mysterious girl said to me. She had a pure voice and she was pretty too. We apologized to each other and went to where we needed to go. Turns out that she goes to the same school.

Rosé: "Hi. I'm Park Chaeyoung. Call me Rosé."
Lisa: "Oh. Hi I'm Lalisa. Call me Lisa."

We introduced ourselves and she left to go to class. I had to go see what class I was in. When I walked into the classroom, I was surprised. I ended up seeing Jennie and Rosé. I didn't think we'd be in the same class. I introduced myself and got told to sit next to Jennie. "Where did you come from?" "Are you single?" "Wow you're so pretty." I kept getting these compliments and I didn't know what to do. "Hey guys can't you see that you're bombarding her with questions? Calm down a little" Rosé told them.

We ended up going to get lunch together and I saw Jennie sitting at a table alone. "Hey Rosé. Why's that girl always alone?" I asked her. "Oh. That's Jennie. The only one who ever approaches her and can talk to her is Jisoo. She always seems cold. She keeps to herself as well" She replies. I thought that she wasn't like that when I bumped into her a couple months ago. "Let's go sit with her" I told Rosé. She was scared and surprised at first but agreed to try. "Hey is this seat taken?" I asked Jennie. She looked at us and said "O-oh uh n-no i-it's not. Go r-right ahead." She seemed to stutter a lot. Another girl started heading over to our table with a surprised look on her face.

Girl: "Jennie? Did you finally make some friends?"
Jennie: "Shut up Jisoo!"
Jisoo: "Hey that's not very nice. This is why people are scared of you."

Jennie got quiet after that. She's so cute though. How could anyone be scared of her. I guess I was staring for a bit because next thing I know, Rosé is nudging me to introduce myself to Jisoo. "O-oh yes. I'm sorry. I'm Lalisa. Lisa for short" I said. Jisoo, Rosé, and I had a nice talk at lunch. Jennie stayed quiet so I decided to try and talk to her. "Hey Jennie wh-"

*DINGGGG*

Ughh the bell rang. We said bye to Jisoo and got back to class. I tried to talk to her throughout the whole day but she wouldn't even respond to me. "I think she hates me" I told Rosé before our next class started. Suddenly Jennie jumped up and said "N-no! I d-don't hate y-you." I smiled at her and she seemed to get red all of a sudden.

Jennie's POV
She smiled at me. My heart started racing again. I don't know why but I can't talk around her. Everybody seemed to be staring at us. "What are you guys looking at?" I asked them and they all turned away, except Lisa. Ughh I need to figure this out. Why does my heart keep racing for her? "Lisa. Come with me I need to talk to you" I said and she followed me.
