brave girl
there is nothing wrong with having
more books than friends
more love for your cat than your day
more sadness than happiness
for this is all the more proof
of your life,
it pulses in those pages, those whiskers, those tears
that you are very much alive
with all the opportunity for
more friends
more days
more happiness
