Chapter four

Ray and I waited patiently at the window for Emma and Norman to arrive, when suddenly we hear a bang coming from the front door. Making our way down the stairs Ray and I hear Emma and Norman panting as they came through the door way. They made their way upstairs we met them half way, pausing in their position as they saw us...

"How did it go?" Ray asked calmly, knowing the outcome.

"Did you give Conny her bunny?" I said in a shy weak tone, worried by their reactions.

"No... we didn't..." Emma and Norman said in unison, they looked fightened.

"We- Um... didn't make it on time..." Norman said quietly making it sound more like a whisper.

They continued walking up the stairs, as for Ray and I we went to the dining room.

"Ugh I feel awful putting all this weight on their shoulders" I said in regret.

"You can't turn back now Y/n, they're eventually gonna find out sooner or later." Ray said carelessly, I knew he was right so I just let it go.

We both walked up to our room, and opened the door silently. I got into my bed and looked at the ceiling, unable to sleep. The same feeling of someone looking at me was back, the next thing I knew Ray walked out of the room. I look out to see that it's still dark. Confused and Eager to know where Ray had gone, I got out of bed and carefully grabbed the same lantern near my bed and walk silently between beds and through the door.

"Ray?" I whispered as I yelled a little bit, I Look from my left to right and heard the wind and the floor creak. I walked downstairs again looking left to right but he's not here either, I sighed about to walk up the stairs when someone grabbed my wrists pulling me back and covered my mouth, I was in shock. I screamed under their hold but they told me to shush I looked at the person to see it's just Ray. I gave him an annoyed Glare look as he released me.

"Why would you do that! you nearly gave me a second heart attack, you idiot!" I said in an annoyed tone as I punched him in the shoulder.

"Ow. I'm sorry my sweet sister, I'll make sure to give you a third one~" He said using a sarcastic voice, as his frown became a smirk.

"We should sleep now" I said without asking why he walked out the room.

"Yeah... let's go" Ray said drowsily, I walk slowly behind him.

"Come on slow poke" Ray said smirked, I glared back.

In unison we walked back to our room and slept, though both of us were still awake we fell asleep after a few minutes.

||Next morning||
I wake up to see Norman in bed having a nightmare, I didn't want to say anything right now as I still feel guilty... I walked out the door to see two of the five year old running.

"Phil can you wake up Norman please and don't run in the halls I don't want you two to get hurt" I said in a gentle nice voice as I gave him a Smile.

"Okie Y/n" Phil replied giving a big smile after hugging me.

I walked to the dining table trying to help with preparations, but something... seemed a bit off... I look around the room to see Emma but she wasn't smiling she looked afraid and a worried look was forming on her face, until Norman showed up and whispered something in her ear. I looked at Ray and signed him to talk to Emma, he nodded back.

After breakfast I walk next to the tree where Ray was sitting and reading a book, Ray is also trying to finish most of the books in the library. I guess it's both of our coping mechanisms in the current situation...

"Hey Ray~" I said mischievously.

"What?" He asked visibly annoyed.

"Hey Ray" I replied again smiling nearly about to Laugh as I sat beside him.

Next thing I know Ray closes his book and hits the back of my head...

"Ouch!" I said painfully holding the back of my head.

"That's what you get for Being so irritating" he snickered.

Ray and I sat at the tree for a while now, everyone was playing tag. We see Emma and Norman walking towards the tree, Ray and I looked at each other in unison before getting up following Emma and Norman. We followed them till they stopped and talked for a little while, Listening to the whole conversation we hear them talk about their plan on how to get out of the farm.

"We should tell Y/n and Ray" Emma said anxiously.

"Yeah, I'll go tell them, you stay he-" Norman agreed, but before he could finish his Sentence Ray walked out of the bush. I walked after him.

Normans eyes began to widen as he saw Ray and I, though he also blushed a little Bit?

"Yo" Ray said lifting his hand up and waved

"Y/n, Ray what are you doing you?" Emma said nervously.
