Chapter Ten

Ray and I looked at each other with big wide eyes, realising we've been caught... I walked towards the bed as Ray did the same, I see Ray lay down on the bed causing me to copy every single movement he made. Ray and I laughed started to laugh for a few seconds until we spoke.

"Awwww really?!~" I laughed like a psycho.

"I thought we were doing so well~" Ray added laughing while looking at Norman in a psychotic way.

"I thought so too~" I frowned before smiling right after at Ray.

"When did you find out?" Ray and I said in unison.

"When Sister Krone came... But I hated to think you two were the traitors, My best friends..." Norman said sadly, I look into his eyes in guilt for my actions. Though if only he knew...

"Norman it was for a reason..." Ray muttered out without thinking.

"What reason?!" Norman angered, demanding an answer as he crossed his arms.

"For survival... and for you guys..." I answered seriously, He looked at me confused that's understandable... It almost makes me want to wish the whole situation was...

"What do you mean for us?" Norman asked, knowing the outcome we have to tell him the truth.

"We only did it so we wouldn't be shipped early..." I spoke in guilt for my actions not able to look at Norman.

"Also for prizes..." Ray added crossing his arms, as I could feel Norman staring at me and Ray.

After a few minutes of talking, we all agreed to tell Emma about Ray and I being spies for Mama tomorrow. Walking down to see Emma, Ray and Norman went the other way as I decided to walk up to Emma.

"Hey Emma!" I greeted happily smiling at her.

"Hey Y/n..." she spoke barely audible, though looking upset. It concerned me...

"I can't handle it anymore, seeing our siblings being shipped and doing nothing..." Emma flustered, as she whispered leaning closely to my ear only audible for me to hear...

"We'll escape for sure, I'm sure we can save them" I sounded confident, Emma smiled genuinely wiping the tear below her eye. I didn't notice until after she wiped it...

"Mama said we can eat without her" Ray said seriously, though this wasn't normal for Ray to visit Mama alone without me... I look at him in suspicion before shooing my thoughts away.

"Ok then, lets eat" Emma breathed happily as she prayed before digging into her food.

After eating we fixed the dishes and cleaned up the tables, surprisingly Mama came into the dining room as Sister Krone followed behind her... something's going on. A few minutes have passed and everyone went up to get ready for bed. Except for Emma, Ray, Norman, Gilda, Don and I. We had everything about Mama... and about the so called "orphanage" after a long discussion, Don changed the topic.

"We should do something?!" Angered Don sounding annoyed and frustrated, but it sounded more like an aggressive question...

"Yeah we should?" Gilda agreed, as she paused then spoke again.

"Let's make some sort of plan to save Conny." Gilda said seriously, they don't understand...

"Yeah we can get Conny and the others away from the bad guys" Don planned, I tried to speak though I would get cut off by either one of them arranging a plan...

"We can't, w-we can't get C-Conny and the O-others back" Emma stuttered looking down as she grips her skirt.

I glance at Emma then at Ray, I realised he seemed different something was off. He had the look of regret and had a soft facial expression, he was looking at Emma. He never looks at anyone like that... How strange...
