It's been a week since I acceptee the challenge and I'm nowhere near the beginning also
The nightmares are back and I'm functioning with 2 hours of sleep per day
And it's frustrating that Mr Peters didn't find anymore information
2 days go Mr Wexins asked me he is looking forward to see my designs and I haven't even started it yet
I decided to start designing
I don't know when but I think I slept while designing
I woke up to Cole shouting
He looked very angry
"Ms Rhodes , I don't pay you to sleep and I would like to see some of the designs right now. Come to my office " he looks irritated
What would have happened?
I just realised that I couldn't complete one design also
I don't know what I will say to him
I went to his floor and knocked on his door
I heard a faint come in
Cole was sitting behind the desk and waiting for the designs
"Where are the designs?" He asked as if I'm testing his patience
"I'm not done with them" I stated
"What did you just say? " he got up from his chair
"I said I didn't complete them, do you want me write it down ? " I replied a bit harshly
Lack of sleep is making me into a angry person
"How inefficient can you be? I gave you a week time to submit the designs and you did nothing " he is staring at me
What crawled up his ass this morning ?
"WHAT?!"
Oops! I think I said that out loud
" Nothing nothing " I answered immediately
He is still staring at me
What else should I say?
" I'll submit the designs in 2 days " I asked him time
"Okay fine , if you don't complete by then you can pack you're things and go back to you're office " I said checking some file
" Excuse me, but don't you think submitting designs of a mansion in week is a bit too much ? " I stated
"No, if you are working for the Wexins it's never too much" he replied
"Whatever " with that I left
How can a person be so ruthless
Maybe he is ruthless and kind at the same time
It was lunch time so I decided to go to company's cafe and have lunch
I bought a coffee and a sandwich for myself and sat at an empty table
I was scrolling through instangram wen I heard a person clear their throat
"Yes? " I looked up
" Can we sit here? The cafe is full today" 2 girls asked me
"My name is Saphire and she is Amanda " the blonde girl introduced
"I'm Laura Rhodes " I told them my name and resumed drinking my coffee
"Are you new here? Amanda asked
"Yes, I'm actually an inerior designer , I'll get be working here for a few days " I replied
"Oh, that's nice. Atleast you don't have to tolerate our boss's tantrums " she muttered
"Is someting wrong with him today?" I couldn't hold myself
"Yes, apparently his step mother came to visit him and he hates her for some reason . He becomes a ruthless guy when she is here " Sapphire replied
Oh, that's what it is about
He shouldn't be such an emotional bitch all the time and make his staff suffer
"My lunch break is over, I'll be leaving now . It was nice to meet you two" I got up from the chair and left to my cabin
After eating my lunch I feel an little better
I decided to start my work
