Neither of us spoke the whole ride , it was a bit awkward
" Did you have dinner Cole? " I asked
" No" he replied looking at the road
" Have dinner at my place , I mean it's already late " I told him
" Are you sure?" He glanced towards me
" Yes, it's the least I can do for you for dropping me home" I smiled
"Okay"
In 10 minutes we reached home
Kylie and I live in a decent neighborhood , are flat is quite big with three bed rooms and a huge living room with an amazing view and we live on the 9th floor
Here goes another elevator ride
He kept glancing at me all the way
And I had to pretend like I couldn't see that
We reached the floor and I started fishing out the keys when Kylie suddenly opened the door
" LAURA ANGELA RODES! YOU HAV...uh what" Kylie stopped mid sentence when her eyes fell on Cole
"Hey kyy, this is my boss Cole Wexins and Cole this is my besht friend Kylie Johnson"
"Pleasure to meet you Kylie" Cole said with a smile
"Same " Kylie said awkwardly due to the lack of words
"Let's go in I'm starving "
" I made Alfredo for dinner , are you fine with it Cole? " Kylie asked
" Yes yes, infact I love it and thank you for having me here" he said
"Let's eattt" I demanded
The Alfredo was really good, Kylie is a really good cook and I cannot make anything other than the lasagna I learnt
"It's really good " Cole commented
The rest of the night we were drinking wine and chit chatting until Cole left

I didn't catch much sleep last night and I'm obviously running late
By the time I reached my table , Cole was already inside his office doing his work
God ! This guy is so dedicated to his work doesn't he take a break or something?
The intercom beeped indicating a call from Cole
"Ms Rhodes, please come into my office"
I put the phone down and went to his office without knocking
"Mr Wexins, you wanted to see me?" I asked
He looks to hot today in the the suit !!
Wait what?
"Yes, as you know the fund raiser is in a few days I would like you to get the work started in the mansion " he said without looking at me from the files he was reading
"Sure , I'll go right away" I replied and started leaving
"Let me get my stuff too, I'll be accompanying you as I want to see the work myself"
"Okay"
By the time we reached the mansion , the workers were doing their job
I think the designs were already sent to them
We directly went to the ball room where workers were waiting for us to give orders
"Good morning guys, this is Laura Rhodes the designer and your boss for now " with that he gestured me to take the lead
" Good morning, it's a pleasure to meet you guys "
The workers here look pretty old and sweet
"Let's get the work started? " I asked
