Chapter 6:Decisions

   Alec's dark half:Let me in.
    Slender: Foolish human

   I stood in a white void and sighed. "What do you want?" I spoke into the void. I want you to disappear and let me take this body! The voice from earlier snarled as a blood drenched version of myself appeared in front of me. You know you like spilling blood so why do you fight me?!  "I don't want to kill innoncent people!!" Every time you get my body you leave a trail of corpses in your path!

        It didn't bother you when we massacred that drug dealer! "He wasn't an innocent person and you know that!!" I don't care and you shouldn't either!Everyone in this world needs to go! "No, I won't let that happen." If you keep trying to take control I'll lock you in the darkest part of my mind!" Heh when will you accept the fact that some part of you wants to be like me?! I am the darkness in your heart!

    You need to wake the fuck up and accept it!! You can't deny me forever! "I can't accept it and I won't!" I'll let you out just enough to kill those who deserve it but I'll never fucking let you take control of me!!" Is it because of her?! She almost killed you and you partnered with her!! "With her here I feel more normal and at peace than I've felt in a long time!" Now piss off so I can get some actual dreams in!!"

    The void around me vanished and I was in a foggy forest."Son of a bitch!" I muttered. "WHAT DO YOU WANT SLENDER?!" I yelled into the surrounding trees.  Static exploded in my ears as Slender appeared in front of me. Why did you paint my symbol on that kill site? "I wanted to leave a statement and besides no human even believes you and your killers exist!"

      If you wanted to be a proxy you should have asked! Not use my symbol when you aren't one!! "I didn't want to be one because I didn't want to be under anyone else's control and don't bullshit me, I know you can mind control people!"

     Child watch your tounge before it gets ripped out!You help us and we let you live! "Then by all means kill me, it would save me from the struggle of keeping control of my body from my inner self." I spat out bitterly

  You have the same problem as masky? "Yes and I hate it so much, he wanted to talk with me." I meant no disrespect by using your symbol." You have potential boy. Very well I'll let you use our symbol as a calling card but when you die you will become one of my proxies.

   One of his tendrils reached out and I shook it agreeing to the deal.Agony spread along my arm as a thin outline of the proxy symbol burned itself into my left shoulder. That mark will allow you to heal faster and should you need to escape something it will allow you to slender-step but only once a day.

   Once you die it will become a black inked in version and you'll be reborn as a full proxy.  The forest vanished and I awoke suddenly being shaken by clockwork. "What the fuck happened?!" You just started screaming in your sleep!"Clockwork yelled in worry.

   "HE came to visit me in my dreams."I said tired still. "What did he want?" Clockwork asked in a dead serious voice. "He was pissed I used the proxy symbol so I made a deal."I explained and Clockwork punched me in the stomach. "WHY WOULD YOU MAKE ANOTHER DEAL WITH HIM?!"

    "I didn't want him to end our arrangement and because I wanted insurance in case my other side ever took my body again." I wanted to be sure that if I ever lost control someone would put me down or try to save me." I spoke with a dead tone.

    "I can't believe this." I never wanted you to join us like that!" You had a chance to live a fairly normal life but now you'll never be able to have a family or settle down with someone human!" Clockwork shouted angrily.

    "I don't want a human!" I yelled back. Clockwork's face went blank as she heard what I said. "I never wanted to settle down either, I'm too damned broken to ever be with someone normal anyway." I said hollowly.

  "What do you mean?" Clockwork asked seriously. "Clockwork I still see the faces of the bastards who tortured me, I see the face of every kill I've made and it fucking haunts me!" I screamed as I began to cry softly.

    "You don't deserve this life." Clockwork said sadly watching me breakdown. "Clockwork, I wanted to be with you." I muttered as tears fell silently. "Ever since the moment I saw you, I liked you." You've comforted me and worried for me despite barely knowing me for a few weeks."

   "I needed someone like you who truly understood the pain I deal with daily." Clockwork sat silently as I spoke and I was afraid she would leave because of my confession. "I understand if you want to leave now."

   Clockwork did something I never expected her to ever do.She leaned in and kissed me.I kissed back suprised as hell. We broke apart and I smiled happily. "Wow never thought you'd ever do that." I said suprised. "Neither did I." Clockwork responded with a small blush.

    "What should we do?" I asked with a smirk." You could explain what Exe meant by fan art." Kuso!(shit/damn) I muttered. My smirk disappeared as I debated on what to say."I have alot of fan drawn pictures of you on my pc and some are swimsuit ones, I'm sorry if it upsets you I'll delete them."

   Clockwork looked at me and chuckled at what I'd said. "I'm not mad about the fan art as long as none of its lewd." Oh thank Slender." I said exhaling. "That being said we should probably check if the cops found that asshole's corpse yet." Clockwork said as I stood up.

       
  I walked into the living room clicking  on the tv and sitting on the couch as I did. Clockwork sat next to me as I flipped to the local news.
  Breaking news a local man was found stabbed to death in his apartment with a weird symbol spray painted on the wall. My message on the wall flashed across the tv screen and I smiled menacingly.

  
    I chuckled as the news anchor cut back to the news room."He was only the first." I spoke with conviction in my voice. "I have a long list of his associates and I'm coming for them next." I said turning off the tv. "When do we move on them?" Clockwork asked with a grin.

     "The first one lives in this complex as well." We can move tomorrow night." Make a date night out of it." I said with a laugh. "Sure why not, after all you did so well last night." Clockwork said as I smirked

    "We are coming for you scum and there's no where you can hide from us." Your time is almost up!" Me and Clockwork spoke in sync.
