Genesis here, I have been following the anime/manga ridiculously close this whole time but I am going to have to start changing things up since (Y/N) is no longer going to be a bystander and she will be effecting the story line. This is also where the three Through the mind stories start to split to START HERE IF YOU DON"T WANNA REREAD!
You were watching silently in the corner of the lecture room as Gon stormed in and caused the atmosphere to raise in tension. You played your role as an examiner perfectly and gave your insight and knowledge on the issue that happened with Killua beforehand and the chairman agreed with you on the fact that the results shouldn't be changed. As much as you wanted Killua to be given his license instead of Illumi for the incident, it wouldn't fix any of the important problems. Killua would just be locked up at his home for punishment all the same and Illumi would tighten his leash.
As soon as the ordeal ended and the orientation began again, you left to wait in the hallway. You needed to have a few words with some of these people and you knew at least one would be avoiding you. Illumi knows very well about your stand on Killua's life and how you treasured the boy the most out of anyone in his family. At one point he even tried to use him as leverage to try and get you to sign adoption papers into the family yourself. Him doing this was infuriating to you. The first to come across you was Hisoka and you glare at him before moving to walk towards the hall to find Illumi.
"You wait here, I have a few words for you too. If you want the conversation to go smoother and my forgiveness more easily attainable, make sure Illumi knows that touching Gon will do more than just enrage me." The man simply chuckles and leans on one of the pillars to wait as you move on. You spot Illumi walking your way before he realizes you were coming to him and was about to go the other way.
"Hold it right there, Illumi! Your not getting out of this!" He freezes and turns back to you with the same emotionless face as always. "You put a fucking needle in him! How dare you mess with the story! I am going to-"
"Gittarakur!" Your cut off by someone and both you and Illumi look to see who. Gon walks straight up to the two of you with a scowl ingrained into his face. "I want you to tell me where Killua is." You smile at the boy and feel your anger subside slightly, you were hoping for this.
"Your really going after him?" Illumi asked, you could see the subtly surprise in his void like eyes. a small chuckle leaves your mouth at the notion, of course he would. "I think that's a bad idea."
"Who cares what you think! Killua is my friend, I'll get him back I swear." The determination you loved so much in Gon grew stronger in his eyes.
"And do they feel the same way?" Illumi turns to Kurapika and Leorio who had walked up behind Gon. Your smile only widens more at the pleasant surprise. You weren't sure those two would go through with Gon.
"You bet we do." Leorio answers him. Gon looks back in shock as the two nod their agreement with the boy. Illumi looks at you before your smile drops and your glare returns to your face along with the anger at the man.
"Illumi, we will talk at your home. Don't even think of avoiding whats about to come. I will handle this and maybe even help them out." He looked as if he wanted to say something but thought twice before leaving. You then turn to the trio and smile at them.
"Sorry about that, he is not the nicest character."
"Wait, you know him?" Leorio jumps back a little in shock.
"His grandpa is my teacher, I spent seven years learning with Killua's family before moving on and getting my hunters license. But that's not the point," You reply. "I can show you were Killua went, but I won't help you in. I am still his student so I can't do much more than guide you." Gon nods his gratitude before you explain about Kuckuroo mountain and make plans on meeting them to travel together by airship. "Feel free to look up some more about the place before we meet up." After talking with the boys for a bit you move back to the pillar you left Hisoka at. You find him leaning on the same on, barely moved from the position you left him in.
