You don't bother to spend another minute in the arena since the fight was over, instead opting to head straight to Hisoka's room before anyone could get there before you. You needed to hide after all.
Making your way inside you have your mirror stand in a non-suspicious area and hide inside. You feel your phone go off in your pocket and look to see a text from Hisoka.
'No matter what, stay put until I introduce you.' you grumble a little and reply.
'I swear that even if the biggest surprise of an A class character comes through that door with you, I won't move from the mirror until you say.'
'I'll hold you to it! <3' you groan and get comfortable on the grass in front of the mirror with a couple of the resident characters joining you. The most convenient part of Mirror World was probably the most simplistic. It was the fact that you couldn't see inside the mirror world without stepping inside it first, to others it was just a slightly odd mirror.
The door opens and Hisoka walks in with a pink haired girl who looked oddly familiar. He walked straight to the mirror, stretching his Bungee Gum over it so that you couldn't exit easily, and mouthed 'stay put' before sitting down on a chair with both his severed arms on the table nearby.
"I was never quite sure, but today's match proved it to me." She said and you suddenly jumped up. It was her, it had to be. Your eyes begin to water as you try to control your emotions. You needed to stay stable, at least for a while longer. Hisoka hummed questioning her. "Your an idiot!"
"That's quite possible."
"Why did you decide to put yourself in danger this way? What was that? Performance art or something?" She scolds him. He shoots a glance to the mirror.
"Well, I had to put on a good show. I promised one to someone." She looked at him questioningly and then at the mirror. You jump a little and feel the small tremors start as your meter steadily increased before staggering down and then repeating the process. You instinctively go to exit your mirror but are stopped by the elastic nen.
"(Y/N), control yourself!" An animated cloak nervously tries to get your attention, but it was no use. You just starred at her.
"Ok. You're paying me so I guess I can't complain." she shrugs and moves back to him. You watch as she activates her nen and begins to fix his arms. Threading them onto his stumps at an incredible rate. Her sharp attitude and unfriendly behavior only further solidifying your certainty on her identity. Once she finished reattaching his arms they chat a little before she gives him an update of some kind.
"And one more thing, what the hell is up with that mirror? It's made of nen, isn't it? Why cover it with Bungee Gum?" Hisoka smiles as he walks over to your mirror as she finished her question. He stares at his own reflection with a smirk, unaware of your minding shaking and your tear stained cheeks. Your resident characters had already retreated to the safety of their homes and so you sat weak kneed, alone in the grassy field.
"Yes~ It is something I hope the boss will be very interested in." He stares right at you. "I believe it was actually stolen from him years ago and I simply want to return it." Machi glares at him and your mirror, who can steal something from the boss? "I know what your thinking~" He hums. "But I plan to send it ahead of time to the meeting place, I just want you to pass the message along for me to the boss~" He throws an envelope over to Machi and she grabs it without a blink. She was about to open it when he stops her. "Not yet~ I would rather you wait til you get outside before finding out what is inside." She huffs and turns to leave.
"Whatever, but you better not be planning anything." She glares as she opens the door. " If you are then I'll break that so called mirror." Then she's gone. Hisoka gets rid of the nen entrapping you and puts his hand into the mirror and holds it out for you to grab. You do and leave the mirror, having it disperse once you're out. Instantly moving towards the door where she had left.
"Machi!" You yell in between sobs. Hisoka pulls you back from the door and allows you to sit down and gather yourself. Only after your tears slow does he speak.
"Our hunch was right after all." He smiles wickedly. "I plan to send you directly to the meeting spot in York New city. I am not sure if the other members of your family are spiders as well." He then goes into detail on where to go and how to wait for them. Machi would more than likely come back after reading the note and Hisoka insisted on surprising the troupe. You owed him so much for reuniting you with Machi that you agreed to his slightly twisted surprise.
"Now I assume you will want to get going as soon as possible, so here is the ticket for the airship to York New, it leaves in two hours." Hisoka was rushing you, you knew very well why. Machi was probably already on her way back to the room at a lightening pace.
"That's to slow, I'll leave now and get there before the airship even takes off." You were still in inner turmoil and worked on an autopilot of sorts. You have Magic Mirror appear and three fairies fly out of the shaking mirror to you. They cover you in their dust and soon your flying out the window at high speeds without another word. Your characters aren't very stable at the moment since they were born from your mind and that was teetering on an edge at the moment. This meant that any object or character you pulled out could vanish if you are pushed to far, with fairy dust you were only reliant on the after effect of your characters and that was much safer than riding a broom, sword or carpet that could disappear at any moment.
??? POV
Machi whipped her head around at the sound of her name, she swore it sounded like- She shakes her head, no. She was gone. Machi fought her hunch on turning back to go to the room and headed outside the building, the familiar warmth that flooded her body instantly pushed back by the sadness of reality.
Machi was a good ways away from Heaven's Arena thinking about the mystery that was known as Hisoka as She muttered to herself. "He has to be messing around or something. Who on earth could steal something from the boss let alone keep it from him?" She reached into her pocket for the sealed letter. the bungee gum keeping it from opening was undone. She was unsure if she was out of some sort of range or if he had undone it after so long. Her hunch makes her hesitate to open it, but she breaks the seal and pulls out a single slip of paper. Unfolding the small slip she instantly grips it tightly and runs back over to Heavens Arena as fast as she could. eight simple words, a playfully written statement, had her regretting her choice of ignoring the desire to go back to the room, was she really calling for her?
Once she slammed the door open, breaking its hinges she noticed the odd mirror was gone. Hisoka was playing with his cards in the same chair. His smirk at her appearance only further confirming her thoughts.
"Where is the mirror?! How do you know about her!" She stomped over to the man in a rage like state. "What do you mean by this?!" She slams the slip of paper onto the table he was next to. The statement written on the paper taunting her. 'I found a girl, her name is (Y/N) ♠️'
"Well aren't you in a hurry." He gathers his cards and turns his head to the window. "I'll explain everything I know in York New. I would appreciate if you told the boss about my discovery. Though I'm not sure if I got the right item he lost until I give it to him, I am rather confident about it. I would appreciate if you kept my little secret until I know for certain. I am hoping for a good show in return for the one I had given. ♦️" In his mind he knew it would be though and a single thought fluttered through his mind.
'It's a shame that such a good treasure has turned to trash. Oh well, I suppose I can still break her though .'
