They pulled up onto the curb outside Solomons bakery with about ten minutes to spare.

The building was tall and old, red bricks worn down by time, while the glass of the windows was polished and glittery. A sign hung above the door on old creaky screws that added to the slightly rustic look of the building. Claud could see several people bustling inside the actual bakery part of the building, a small line forming at the till, and then glanced over some of the pastries displayed in the window. Her mouth watered slightly at the delicious looking treats.

Dean parked the car on the opposite side of the street before they all clambered out. Claud fixed her hat and glasses, smoothing out her skirt, before she turned to the trio that came with her.

"Right" she huffed "Dean is coming in with me"

The man nodded, sending a slightly smug look to his sister, while Newt began to filter through his wallet. He spoke after a moment as he tucked his wallet back into his blazer and kept a few coins in his hand.

"Dahl and I will head into the bakery then"

Claud nodded before she turned and crossed the road in two with Dean. He stood tall and proud, standing protectively close, but still giving the shorter woman space knowing she can protect herself. They were stopped at the door by a tall and thin young man, his eyes shifting nervously between the two gangster, before he swallowed nervously.

Ollie's throat felt dry at the sight of the woman. Alfie had been excited when she set up a meeting but had told all his boys to stay cautious. He pushed the door open and held it for them as they walked into the bustling distillery.

Claud breathes in the strong scent of rum as well as the musky smell of sweat. It was a dark open room lined with wooden barrels and support beams while more than a dozen men were bustling around in aprons. Ollie led Claud and Dean down the main walkway of the basement like room but before they could get any deeper into the den, a man appeared in the doorway of the office at the end of the room and began to make his way towards them.

His shoulders were broad and slightly hunched while he walked with the power and prowess of a soldier. Claud watched as he raised a ring covered hand to scratch his short beard before he dropped it back to his side. He was handsome, that was obvious, with rugged weathered looks of a man that has seen death and was unimpressed. The man, Alfie Solomons, stopped when he reached a woman with a mischievous twinkle in his dark eyes that made the Holmes woman twitch and smirk with excitement.

"I 'ave been very excited to meet you, Miss 'olmes"

Claud smirked and nodded to him respectfully "I can say the same, Mr Solomons"
