9. get the hell out of here

Liz's Pov:
"so you've gotten phone calls text messages and letters? By chance did you bring any of them?" I said "oh yeah we brought them." Billy says handing me a package I begin to take off my super thin glove that nobody knew existed. "Wait what are you doing?" Billy asked "right I haven't told you. My Father was captain comet so I have his powers except they're a little different his energy was fire mines more light." I explain.

" So you're going to use clairvoyance?" Freddy asked "I'm going to try to I haven't before so maybe you guys want to stand back a bit." they move back and I take one of the letters out with my gloved hand and place it on the coffee table in front of me and touch it with my ungloved hand.

Freddy Pov:
her eyes turned white and were glowing "I know this guy he calls himself la perte French for the loss." she looks in pain as she retracts her hand from the paper. "You need to get your family out of state like now!" "Why!?" Mary shot back "this man is dangerous, my dad spent years trying to track him down he is as close to a monster as one can be. I've seen what he has left behind and it is disturbing."

"We can't just leave, this is our fight it's our chance to get him so he cant hurt anyone else." " You don't get it Freddy! His powers are like a plague that kills you nice and slow. Your skin falls off and your body decays until you quite literally pop like a water balloon filled with blood" She said. Everyone was quiet after that.

Liz's Pov:
There was a knock on the door "I'll get it. I looked through the peep hole and saw what looked like the pizza delivery guy until I saw a familiar scar on his arm that I knew too well. I frantically walked to the living area "Shit guys he found us!" I whisper yelled "how the hell do you know it's him?!" Jason whisper yelled back "My dad left him a pretty awful scar on his arm, the same scar that seems to be on our pizza guys arm" Jason and I grab our masks and put them on.

"You guys might want to get ready now there's no way of getting you the hell out of here. " I say pulling out my collapsible battle staff and extending it. "And before all hell breaks loose I wish you guys would've just listened to what I said." I say going with Jason to open the door. He knocks again and says "pizza delivery" Jay-bird gets to the side of the door pulling out a gun. I unlock the door and open it."special delivery." He says pulling out a gun before I knock it out of his hand with my battle staff and Jason shoots him in the leg.

"go!" I shout to the others as we go down the corridor and begin to take the stairs Robin shoots his grappling hook at a rail and began to slide down on the rope and i jumped down the stairwell hovering before I touched the ground of the bottom level. The others followed suit. "Does Rosa and Victor know?" "No do you think we're crazy?" "You guys have some secret base right?" They nod.

"one of you have to get the others here to help and Victor and Rosa to your secret base I don't care how but get it done!" "I'm on it." Mary said super speeding off. "What's the rest of the plan?!" Billy asked "hold him off until I figure that out!" I say as I see him break through a window. I got it! "Distract him." I say turning invisible flying up to the penthouse. I go into my room and grab my breifcase that held my suit and grabbed my power blocker out of the case then quickly got back. I see la perte trying to infect freddy "No!" I yell blasting him off returning whatever he almost took from Freddy. Jason took this chance to shoot passes his head the bullet grazing his ear.

I fly down seeing that the others were finally here. "Ok I got a plan but I'm not totally sure it will work. This here is a power blocking device you put it on a person' temple we just need to get it on him and it's game over. We need to make it hard for him to concentrate on just one target. Darla Eugene make sure the civilians don't get injured and hopefully no one will get hurt."he blasted at me and I dodged it. "Let's go!"

Jason began throwing Bat-a-rangs from a far and right as he was about to blast Jay Billy electrocuted the guy and Jay shot him on the other leg. I turn invisible and try to sneak up behind him and put the device on his temple but he grabbed my arm and threw me into the side of a building. I'm pretty sure I cracked a rib.

He flew over to me and we began to brawl. I took out my battle staff and wacked him in the back of his head and kicked his knee in definitely breaking his leg. in retaliation he grabbed my hand burning it's skin off. Our energies fighting against each other my blinding white one and his black one "this ends today!" I yell at the French man my power began beating him "you will be served Justice for killing hundreds maybe even thousands" I say as I see Jason running up to the scene."

I threw him the device and he snuck up behind the preoccupied man he put the device on the man's temple and I stopped blasting Robin began tying up the man and I melted the device into his skull which caused him to howl in pain. We actually did it.
