I stared blankly at the poorly marked test I was handed. I fixed my glasses, as if moving them would bring my grade up. "This can't be right." I said to Ms. Vega who was in front of me. "I-i studied really hard." She shook her head. " I'm sorry Ms. Green but that's your grade." She responded before walking to the front of the room. I cussed under my breath and sighed. I stuffed the piece of paper away and waited for the bell to ring. As the bell did ring I sprung up beating everyone out of the room and straight the bathroom, I felt like I was gonna cry. As i entered the bathroom, I saw Gretta Bowie and her goons. I sighed and walked outside, I'll cry later. I walked towards the trash cans, being met with some familiar heads. "Hey, Bill." I said as I walked over to my cousin. "H-hi Ally." He said as he dumped out his back pack.

"Best feeling ever!" Stan said triumphantly. I Smiled at how happy he seemed. "Really? Try tickling you pickle for the first time." Richie said back. I snickered at his joke, being the only one like always. Richie smirked at me. "See that how you get the girls, boys." I pulled my blue back pack off my back. "Yeah in your dreams Toizer. Or should I say wet dreams." I smirked at him. He put his arm around me. "Every night Blondie. Every night." I laughed as I opened my back pack, pulling out my binder and pushing it into the trash. "Hey you dropped this Polaroid." Richie said bending over and picking it up. I snatched it from him to make sure it wasn't the one of me and him from a year ago, I used to carry one of me and each of the boys but I kept losing them so I stopped. It was actually one Bill took not too long ago of me hanging upside down at the playground with my hair a mess. I smiled at the memories. "Oh. It's just this one." I said handing it back to him. He studied the picture. "You look hot." He finally concluded. "Thanks Toizer but coming from you that's not much." I responded as I put it back in my back pack with a shrug and slight blush.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Richie asked. I shook my head, too flustered from the easy compliment to talk, and zipped up my bag. "R-Richie, you k-kinda wanna see every girl naked. It's not really a compliment from you." Bill answered. "Bingo!" I pointed at my cousin. "Okay enough of this." Eddie said. "How are we gonna spend our summer?" He asked. "Well I've got to start my training." Richie said fixing his glasses. "Training? For what?" I asked. He smiled. "Street fighter." I rolled my eyes. "Is that how you wanna spend your summer? Inside an arcade?" Eddie asked. Richie smirked. "Beats spending it inside your mother!" I giggled at his joke. I started digging through my bag, looking through the stuff I had left for my scrunchie as their conversation turned to something else. I didn't hear a lot of their conversation til the mention of Georgie was brought up. "We're gonna look for him?" I asked. Eddie and Stan looked hesitant and Bill looked hopeful. Richie just looked stupid as he made an ugly fave at Eddie to de stress the situation. "Oh you ugly fuck." Eddie mumbled. "Yeah w-we are." Bill looked confident. I've been doing r-r-research on the d-drain system." He said. I nodded and looked at the others. "Where are we going to look?" I asked. "The Barrens." Bill said and Eddie looked disgusted. "Ew." He mumbled as we started walking away from the trash cans.

"Who knows, mabey we'll have fun splashing around in shitty water." Richie said and I smiled. All of a sudden, Henry Bowers grabbed Richie by the backpack and pulled him back. He flew back into me, and I fell into Stan. "Owie." I said as Richie got up and held his hand out. I took it and then we both helped up Stan. When I turned around, Henry was making fun of Bill's stutter. "You think you're special cause you got a dead brother? Rides over Denbrough." He said. I felt my face get hot with anger as I opened my big mouth. "Hey! Stop it!" I said as I stomped forward. "Oh look it's piggy!" Henry laughed and pulled up his nose to make it look like a pig snout. I had earned the name piggy after I was 11 years old and very chubby. I'd been loosing weight since but I was still bigger. I rolled my eyes, trying to seem unaffected even though it hurt. "Just leave us alone bowers. Why don't you go tormenting some stray." I said back. "Alice stop." Richie said. "Oh and leave you here to gain a couple more pounds? News flash Green, just cause you have a huge rack and a nice ass doesn't mean I can't see how fat you are." I narrowed my eyes. "News flash Bowers, we know you blow your friends and that's the only reason they tolerate you." I felt pride swarm in my chest for a couple seconds. "YOUR DEAD GREEN!"  He yelled and started towards me. I grabbed Richie and jumped to the side where Stan was just as Bowers was about to get me. "Hello officer Bowers! What a lovely day." I waved at Henry's dad who was now watching. I let go of Richies hand, a small blush creeping up my own neck at the hand holding, as Henry and his dad made intense eye contact. Henry pushed past me and off with his goons. "You're both dead." He looked between me and Bill.

"What a fucking douche." I said as I watched Belch's car drive away. I shook my head and fixed my glasses. I walked over to Bill and threw my arm over his shoulder. "C'mon Billy boy, I've got a batch of cookies waiting for me at home, I'm ready to go." I said as if to make him forget what just happened. Everyone laughed and shook their heads at me. "O-Okay lets go!" He said and we all grabbed our bikes. I pulled my hair up into a pony tail with the scrunchie I pulled from my bag and fixed my backpack. I hopped on my bike and started to pedal off. "Wait up Blondie, I want some cookies too!" Richie called after me. "Does everyone want some cookies?" I asked and looked back. Everyone but Eddie nodding, he didn't like my house. He called my dog, honey, a 'germ infested, golden mop'. "Okay children to the Green household!" I yelled and kept riding towards my house. As we passed the curfew sign I let out a sigh.

When we arrived at my house, the windows of my house were open for the summer breeze to blow through. Said breeze wafting the smell of chocolate chip cookies out. I smiled and opened  he door. "Hi mom! The gangs here." I yelled to my mom, she was in the family room vacuuming. "Okay honey, the cookies are on the table!" She yelled back, waving at us. I walked in more, kicking off my beat up converse and grabbing a plastic cup. "Milk?" I asked. Stan and Richie nodded so I pulled out two more cups. Then I saw the golden colored tail under the table. "Honey, baby c'mere girl!" I said and the dog scrambled from under the table. Eddie yelled and jumped back to the wall next to the doorway. Honey, my golden retriever, wagged her tail as I patted her head. "Hello baby! Who's a good girl?" I opened the jar on counter and handed her a bone-shaped treat. I then opened the back door and pushed her out. "Sorry baby, Eddies here." I said in the same baby voice I always talk to her in. She walked over to her dog house and laid down. "My poor baby." I said as I closed the back door, going back to making cups of milk. After I finished making drinks, I handed the boys their cups and two cookies each. I started to eat and smiled. "Mmm!" I said. My mom put m&ms in the cookies. "I could make you make those noises even louder baby." Richie said.

I turned swiftly and elbowed him in the side. "Watch your mouth Toizer, I'm a lady. And I need to never hear those words." I crossed my legs and put the cookie down, sapping my lips on the edge of a napkin from the pile on the table. Everyone laughed as they knew, I was the farthest thing from a lady.
