The next thing we knew, Richie, Eddie, Bill and myself were wondering aimlessly into the house on Neibolt street. We were only a few steps in when Richie started. "I can't believe I drew the short straw." He said, looking around at the rotted wood. "You guys are lucky we aren't measuring dicks." He grumbled. "Shut up Richie." Eddie said and waked in front of us. "Yeah I'd rather not hear about it." I said. As we walked in further Eddie shuddered. "I can smell it." He said in disgust. "Don't breathe through your mouth." I said and walked towards what looked like it used to be a living room. "How come?" Eddie asked and watched me run a finger over the fire place. I turned and locked eyes with him. "Cause then you're eating it." Eddie gagged and covered his mouth. I just went back to looking around the dusty living area. As Eddie pumped the medicine out of his inhaler, Richie walked towards the opposite end of the house. He saw a paper in the vines and pulled it out, uncrumpling the creases. As he read the paper, Bill, Eddie and I walked over to him. "Rich?" I asked as his eyes were even bigger then normal. "What?" Bill asked. We'd both known Richie for a long time and this wasn't like him. "It-it says I'm missing." He said and Bill looked down at the per in his hands. Sure enough there sat a Missing poster for one Richie Tozier. "Your not missing Richie." I said and went to put a hand on his shoulder when he flipped. "Police department, City of Derry, that my shirt! That's my hair! That's my face! That's my name, that's my age! That's the date!" He was freaking out now. Bill tried to snatch the paper from him. "Just calm down." But Richie wasn't having it. "NO IT SAYS IT, IT SAYS IT!" He yelled. "Richie calm down!" Bill was saying over and over but Richie just kept asking why he was missing. "Look at me richie! Look at me!" I said and stepped between the boys, taking Richie's hands in mine. "That isn't real." I said and pointed at the poster bill had tossed on the floor. "It's playing tricks on you." I looked into his eyes when suddenly. "Hello?" We all turned at the sound of someone's voice. Bill starts walking towards the staircase as I gasp. "Hello?" The voice calls again. We all follow bill  as he wandered closer to the stairs. When we get close enough to look up the stairs the voice calls out again. "Help me please!" She said and whimpered at the helplessness in her voice.

As we start up the stairs Eddie starts heavily breathing and I pay his back as he gags. I look up the next stair case with worried eyes as we reach the top of the first. There's a hallway and we all inspect it. Richie and Bill looking at doors and me and Eddie hanging back. "I don't like it here." I whisper. Eddie nods in agreement, still wheezing. As we look down the next hallway, there she is; Betty Ripsome. She's laying on the ground gagging and wheezing and cough as we watch her. I step in front of the boys, ready to run towards her. "Betty." Bill said. "Ripsome." Richie finished. "You're-you're here." I said and took a step forward when suddenly she's dragged back and I jump back into the boys. My lip quivered at the scream she let out. "Bill I-I don't like it here." I said. As if they didn't hear me, Richie and Bill walk forwards. Eddie and I hang back, not wanting to die. "Eddie." Gets let our in a raspy voice behind us and we both turn. "What are you looking for?" It days again as Eddie takes a step towards it. I grab his hand and follow him. "Guys do you hear that?" Eddie barely gets it out. The boys don't answer and Eddie and I just stand there. "It's probably nothing?" I say but it sounds like a question. Eddie let's got of my hand to grab his inhaler and I hold the straps of my backpack tighter. I puff out my chest as if to seem more confident but I'm just as scared as Eddie on the inside. I hear the freak of the door and Richie talking behind us but I'm too scared to look. Eddie takes another puff of his inhaler. "Guys?" He says again but it's even quieter this time. The door in front of us creaks open and Eddie's breathing picks up again. I inhale sharply too. The door behind us creaks and and Eddie I both turn around to see the door closing. I grab his hand again and take off towards the door. "Guys!" He says as my eyes start to water again. "Guys!" I yell, not ready to be split up. The door closes and we keep screaming. "Guys! Guys!" We yell. It's locked. "Eddie. Alice." Bill says as he wiggles the door knob. Just as we're about to make it to the door, the floor falls through. We stop in time and I've officially started crying. Hot, salty tears fall from my eyes as I let out quick short sobs. Eddie stares into the hole as carnival music plays. Eddie turns around and when I look there's a leper holding onto his shoulder. I let out a small yelp. "Time to take your pill Eddie." He said and opened his mouth to show one of Eddies Pills. Eddie's eyes roll back in his head as he faints and falls through the floor. "Eddie!" I yelled out as he hit a table and it broke. I let out another sob and when I look to the man again he's gone. "Is it getting dark?" I whimper out, trying to not fall, knowing there's a hole in the floor behind me. I went to step forward but it's like and invisible force is pushing me back because next thing I know, it's completely black and I'm falling down a hole in the floor. I hit the same table Eddie did, or at least I'm assuming I did. My ankle stings from the way I landed. I squeeze my eyes shut but it's still dark and the pain is terrible. I let out a sob as I lean my head back and feel around for Eddie. He screams as I touch him  and I scream too, not knowing what's wrong. His watch begins to beep and I hear his head hit the table. "Eddie?" I asked but he seems to have passed out. "Shit." I mumbled as I tried to stand but I couldn't. I touched my ankle, to try and examine it, but it hurts too much to poke and prod.
