Jake's POV
I was in bed when I heard my phone buzz. I opened my eyes and sit up quickly, praying that it was Laura calling.
I reached out for my phone and checked the caller ID. I sigh in relief when I saw Laura's name.
I'd been calling and texting her for days now but I'd not been able to get in touch with her.
I made a visit to her house a few times and there was no one at home. There was a lock on the door.
I was worried and angry at the same time.
I answered the call and said "hello" with a bit of anger in my voice.
When I heard her stammer a "hi", my heart melted. I realized I'd missed her a lot.
She has to give me an explanation. I thought
She was silent. Was she okay? Is something bothering her? I wanted to ask her but I managed to keep my cool with an emotionless "hello?"
She stammers again and I smile to myself. She looks really cute when she does that.
Then finally she asked me to come over. I did a little happy dance in my room but hey! I'm still mad at her
After accepting her invite, I took a shower and headed to her house
