Laura's POV
We will get through this, it'll be okay. He assures me.
I nod
To be honest with you, I'm actually excited about it. I couldn't imagine having a child with anyone else. He says looking at me with a grin
I smile back at him
It feels good to hear you say that. I tell him
He grabs my hand and intertwines his fingers with mine.
I felt relieved.
He starts to massage my head and play with my hair. The sensation of him playing with my hair feels relaxing that it makes me close my eyes, falling asleep

I tap the space next to me three times.
Sure enough the bed is empty, except for me.
I open my eyes and sit up, praying that Jake didn't leave without saying goodbye.
I sigh in relief when I saw his phone on my night stand
Rubbing my eyes, I stand up and walk out of the room to the hallway and hear a noise downstairs
Jake had prepared dinner and was setting the table
Hey beautiful, you're up. Come let's have dinner. He says with a smile and I walked to the table
He puts a plate in front of me and serves me the food the made. I couldn't help but smile, it was my favourite, noodles
Thank you, I tell him in a soft voice smiling as he served himself
We ate in silence, comfortable silence. It didn't bother us. We just kept smiling at each other
