A Night To Remember
Shyrelle'sMY hand is gripping six paper bags while the other one is holding a cup of Tteok-bokki. All of these stuffs I bought are for Leyy alone. Nice one, I became her personal shopper, whatever.
I'm currently walking through the noisy street of Myeongdong. I've been trying different streetfoods too, going inside some shops looking for something worthy to buy.
I was too busy looking at the street vendors when I accidentally bumped into someone with a strong muscular built. I gasp, muntik pa akong mapaupo sa lakas ng impact!
With glaring eyes I looked at the creature who almost made my brain go in circus.
"I thought Flight attendants have strong leg muscles? You almost sat on the floor.."
I felt my heart stopped when I heard a very familiar deep baritone voice.
I looked at the man who's stranding with all his glory right in front of me right now. His height towering mine, I seems to be a new born puppy cornered by the king of the jungle.
"Gabriel.." I whispered to myself.
He looked at me with his questioning eyes.
"I-I mean Pilot.. Pilot Gabriel.." I fired back.
He just stared at me with his usual deadpan look. I was able to study him in return. He is wearing a caramel colored trench coat hiding his black turtle neck sweater inside. Plus his usual blackpants and leather shoes.
I blinked, captivated by his jet black eyes. Those plump soft lips I tasted once, his square jaw .. how I want to touch them again with my fingers, and his perfectly carved nose sets his appearance like he is the God of thunder, Zeus. His hair was purposely made to look messy,
How can a human being be this impeccable?
"I saw you eating a lot of Korean street foods, have you eaten dinner?" He asked casually like I am one of his friends.
Confused, I replied "no."
He shifted his gaze from the fish cake being cooked by the street vendor to me. I looked at him innocently, then he turned his back from me.
I was just staring at him when he started to walk away. Thinking that he already left me, I was about to walk away as well when I heard him talk again.
"What are you still doing there? Let's go." He said to me with his usual snobbish voice. "W-what?" I stupidly asked, why did I even uttered that word right? But I swear, I saw fireworks when he made his
notorious loop sided smile.—
GABRIEL and I went to a five class restaurant near our hotel. We ordered variety of Korean Foods, and there's this question I've been thinking about since we were on our way here.
"Ah, Pilot.. ahm, Jennica told me earlier that you would join them in their dinner tonight.." I asked hesitantly as I avoided my gaze to him.
"Yes, I told them I'll go.. but I changed my mind."
Uncomfortably, I shifted on my seat. I was biting my bottom lip to prevent myself from asking him again why did he changed his mind and why are we eating dinner together instead.
I don't want to hope, but I just can't help it. Kinagat ko lalo ang labi ko, I am feeling a little kilig right now.
We ate our dinner silently. I don't know if he is aware that I kept on stealing him glances while he is busy eating his food and drinking his red wine.
