2014:
STEVE POV:
I feel a tingling throughout my body and I don't think it's just from the surprise. When I hear my name, I look up to see Sam spreading his wings ready to jump. But a blonde woman grabs him from behind, she throws him backwards, with incredible strength "I don't wanna hurt you! You're our soulmate, please stop this!" I can hear hand to hand combat above me, as I try to climb back up. I then hear Sam's wings and see a shadow of him flying, but something grabs onto him and brings him crashing down. I hear a woman's voice "You have a parachute on that thing, right?" "Yeah?" "Good." She kicks Sam over the edge, I notice that he now only has one wing and is falling, spinning madly.

At least she doesn't intend to kill us.

"Cap? Steve, come in. Are you okay?" "Yeah, I'm here. I'm still on the helicarrier." "I'm grounded, the suit's down. Sorry, Steve." "Don't worry, I got it." I get to where I need to place the last chip, standing in my way is Bucky, well, the Winter Soldier "People are gonna die, Buck. I can't let that happen." He doesn't respond, he just stares at me "Please, don't make me do this." When he shows no signs of moving, I sigh and throw my shield at him. He puts up his metal arm and it bounces off it, I run forward and we fight. I manage to bring up the targeting blade system, but Bucky comes back at me. When I get the chance, I take out the necessary chip, then Bucky comes at me again, he knocks us both over the edge we're on, we land a level below and I drop the chip on impact.

I need to get him down long enough to put that damn chip in!

As we continue to fight, I manage to grab ahold of the chip again, then he knocks it from my hand, sending it another level lower. He then drops down, so I do too. I run after the chip, but my own shield is thrown at me, hitting me in the back and knocking me down, I pick it up in time to block some bullets. I turn to grab the chip, but it's not where it just was, but there are a pair of black combat boots instead. I swallow as I notice the tingling feeling, I hadn't noticed it because of all the adrenaline. I look up to see a young woman with long wavy dark blonde hair and blue eyes, she has the chip in her hand "Ma'am, I need that."

Please help us! Please!

Bucky runs at me, he and I fight, as we do so, the woman asks "What does it do? The chip, what does it do?" "It- Argh!" Bucky stabs me in the shoulder "-it switches the targeting system!" "From what?" "Innocent people!" I manage to bring Bucky down to the ground, I wrap my arms around his neck and force his metal arm down under one of my legs. I hear the click of a gun and look up to see my soulmate pointing a gun at me, she has an emotionless look on her face "You kill him and I'll kill you. I don't care who you are, that you're one of my soulmates." Bucky strains "He's one of your soulmates?" "Yeah. So is the man I kicked over the edge upstairs." She focusses back on me "I will kill you if you kill him, do you understand, Captain!?"

These two clearly have a bond.

"I'm not gonna kill him, I promise you." She keeps her gun trained on me, as I strangle him until he passes out. As soon as he's out, I let go of him "He's alive?" "He is." I hear Hill in my ear "One minute!" "Please." I hold out a hand "This will save lives, I really need it." She hesitates, but hands it over "Thank you." I run to the centre to start climbing up to the targeting system "30 seconds, Cap!" "Stand by!" I continue to climb, as soon as I can, I slip the chip in "Charlie locked!" "Okay, Cap, get out of there!" I turn to see, both Bucky and my soulmate are gone "Fire now." "But, Steve-" "Do it! Do it now!" The helicarrier starts blowing up, I try to make my way down, but everything is blowing up around me, then I hear a shriek.

No! Please tell me that wasn't who I think it was!

I peer over the edge, I don't see anyone, but when I look around a bit more, I see my soulmate under a heavy looking piece of broken off helicarrier, Bucky is trying to pull it off her. I throw myself down to their level and make my way over to them, it's not easy to move around all of the debri, but I have to help her. Together we manage to pull it off her enough, so that Bucky can pull her out, but she's either dead or unconscious, I don't get the chance to check as Bucky turns to me. After trying to convince Bucky that I know him and having him beat me up, the damage to the helicarrier becomes too much. I see my soulmate fall through the floor and I take what I believe might be my last breath, as I fall.
