2015:
CLINT POV:
I look up, in time to see the quinjet crash, but I don't see why. I run the boy to his mother and run straight back towards the quinjet, Pietro is talking to someone laying on the ground beside the burning quinjet. When Pietro gets up and approaches the quinjet, I approach the person on the ground, when I see her face, I gasp.

Rebecca!

I drop to my knees beside her "Rebecca?" She looks at me and groans in pain "What did you just do?" "What had to be done, I couldn't let that robot kill my soulmates." I smile weakly "I need to get you some help." I pick her up in my arms and run her to the lifeboat, as soon as I'm onboard, a medic rushes over to see to her. When Pietro comes aboard, he sits beside me, looking down at Rebecca, who's being attended to "Is she going to be okay?" The medic responds "She's free of bullets, so once I've stopped the blood flow and sealed her wounds, she'll be fine." He lets out a breath.

It must be hard for Pietro, just having met his second soulmate as she puts her life in such danger.

I put a hand in his knee "We'll get through this, then we can all be together, like we should be. Rebecca." I look to my girl, who looks up at me "This is Pietro, by the way." The pair look at each other, a strange look on both of their faces, that I can't quite figure out "Barton-" "Please start calling me Clint." "Clint." I smile "I want to talk to you about something, as soon as I'm not bleeding out, okay?" I nod "Okay, whatever you want, babe." Where flying to the helicarrier, when I notice the Hulk is still on the flying city. I see Cap and Tasha on a different lifeboat and I know that Vision, Thor and Tony are about to destroy the city "Guys, Hulk's still on the city!" Thor responds "I'll get him!" I then realise I haven't taken notice of where Wanda is, but when I turn around, I relax. She's sitting on the floor with Pietro, both beside Rebecca, they're talking quietly. As soon as we get to the helicarrier, we get Rebecca to the infirmary. The Doctors send us away, so we head to the conference room, where we're summoned by Fury.

When we get to the conference room, Cap, Tasha, Thor, Bruce, Sam, Rhodes, Stark, Vision and Fury, are seated. The twins and I take a seat too, then we all discuss what's happened. Once we're done, Tasha speaks up "I noticed a woman pull our quinjet down from the sky, she must be another enhanced. Did she survive? Do we know who she was?"

Actually, how did she pull that quinjet down and survive all of those bullets? Does she have some sort of ability and if so, how did she get it?

Fury responds "What are you talking about?" I respond "It was Rebecca, she saved Pietro and my lives." Fury's eye narrows "Radcliffe?" I nod "I need to have to have a word with her, where is she?" "Infirmary, but she's in no state to answer questions." I stand "What's going on?" He looks me in the eye "Since she's been back with S.H.I.E.L.D, she's been different, not just personality wise, but physically. I haven't put her through another physical test yet, but I've seen her in the training room, she's stronger and faster than I've ever seen her." "So? She's been away on missions, she's bulked up." "Missions that I had nothing to do with."

What's he implying?

Cap asks "Missions? What kind of missions and who are we on about, an Agent?" Fury picks up a tablet and after doing something he connects it to a screen in the wall, on the screen appears a photograph.

"This was taken in 2010 when she was brought to us, she was 18 at the time and has been brought in from a different Agency which went under, she had been raised and trained there. She was good at fighting, good with weapons and passed every physical test, back then I felt like she had much more potential, but now thinking back, I think she was holding back."

Maybe she was still working for the Agency she came from, or didn't trust S.H.I.E.L.D enough to reveal her full capabilities. It makes sense as to why she wouldn't tell me much about herself.

"After one year, she became an Agent. She wasn't allowed a weapon yet, but I sent her to New Mexico to assist with Thor's hammer." Thor raises his eyebrows "I didn't see her there." "She was told to never engage unless told. She had barely returned from New Mexico, when she was taken away for a long term mission. I spoke to Pierce about it, since it was his final decision and now that we know who he was working for, worries me. After that mission was complete, she was sent straight onto another one and once again, it wasn't my decision. Then when S.H.I.E.L.D and HYDRA went down, I don't know what she did, but of course she was unemployed. I managed to get into contact with her not too long ago, I wanted to test my suspicions." He brings up a second photograph.
