New start

It has been two hours since you came to the police station. Right now, you were waiting for Jinyoung to give you some explanation about what happened because the more you thought about it, the more you were confused.

"How can Min-sik die all of a sudden?"

You thought that after Jinyoung would question him, all of your questions would be answered but you ended up with even more confusion.

Suddenly, you saw the door next to you get opened and Jinyoung appeared behind it.

"W-what's going on?" You asked

Jinyoung looked at you while scratching his neck "Min-sik has been poisoned." He said

You looked at him with wide eyes "What? How? Who?"

"We still don't know who gave him the poison" he answered "we're still looking into the security cameras but one thing is sure, the one who gave him the poison is related to this case and doesn't want Min-sik to speak."

"So if we find the one who poisoned him..." you started.

"...we will probably know to whom Min-sik gave the bomb" Jinyoung continued.

*one hour later*

You just arrived home, still in deep thoughts. There are many things that are still unclear, like why Min-sik suddenly changed his attitude when he saw you or what he meant by saying Namjoon? Who is Namjoon? There are millions of Namjoon's in South-Korea. How are we supposed to find the one he meant?

Jinyoung told you that if we find the one who poisoned Min-sik, most of our questions can be answered, so we only have to wait...

"These days are so overwhelming and tiring..." you sigh.

Suddenly you get a notification on your phone, it was a message from Jungkook.

"Hi Y/N!
I talked to our Hitman Bang and you can come work starting from tomorrow at 9am"

You had totally forgotten about the new job.

You: "Oh hi Jungkook, alright I will be there. It's in the Bighit building, isn't it?"

Jk: "Yes it's there, See you tomorrow!"

You put your phone besides you while laying on the couch. You were trying to fall asleep but suddenly got startled of the doorbell.

You lazily woke up to open the door. As you opened it you saw a young man standing in front of you. "EUN-WOO!!" You screamed.

"HII BITCHH!!" He responded while going your way to hug you.

Eun-woo is a childhood friend. You literally knew him since you were like 3 years old. He was truly one of your best friends.

Last year he went to Africa for some studies about medicines or something, you didn't really understand what he explained back then but one thing you knew, is that you were really sad about him leaving.

You missed him like hell as you couldn't always keep contact with him because of the time zone and the bad wifi he had there.

But now he was in front of you! It was such a surprise.

He got inside and you talked for hours, first he told you about all the things he did out there. After that you started talking about your situation. He knew your parents died but he also wanted to hear more.

"That's such a complicated story sis" he said after hearing you out.

"Yeah, right" you sighed. "You know, for the first time in a while I don't feel lonely anymore thank you for coming. I missed you so much."

"Me too sis" he said with a comforting smile on his face.

"So are you staying in Seoul?" You asked

"Oh yeah that's right, I'm looking for a place right now, I found one that looks good but the price is really high so I'm thinking about getting a roommate first"

That's the perfect opportunity! you thought "what about me?"....

Eun-Woo was surprised at fist but gladly accepted. So you went the same day to visit the place and take your stuff that you will need for the night. The place looked quite spacious and cosy just like you wanted. It felt like a good start to take regain control of your life.

The next day you woke up early to start your first day as a maid. You quickly prepared while Eun-Woo was still sleeping in his room.

As he just came back from Africa, he's still taking a break and is "jobless" at the moment like he told you yesterday. You remembered with a smile on your face.

*37 minutes later*
You were now in front of the Bighit building. As an army you imagined all kind of situation if you ever ended up there but you never imagined you would be there as a maid.

"A new experience I guess" you thought out loud.

You heart was beating quite fast while going in. You saw all kind of people passing by, they looked quite busy. Suddenly a guard stopped you.

"Who are you, what are you doing here?" He asked with a strict gaze. You were quite startled because the man looked like he could literally throw you out of the building at any moment.

"Oh, I'm the new maid" you answered fast. "Show me your card" he said without winking once at your answer.

"Which card? It's my first day, I received nothing yet.." you started stressing but luckily you heard a voice you recognised.

"It's alright she's with me" Jungkook said while walking your way. The guard relaxed when seeing Jungkook and moved out of the way to let you both pass.

"So how was your day yesterday?" He asked while showing you the way to the boss's office.

While skipping all that happened in the police station in your head you said "Good! I found a new place with Eun-Woo where I will be living for now"

"Eun-Woo? Is that your boyfriend?" He asked curiously what caused you to laugh out loud.

"No hahahahaha he's gay! He's just a childhood friend hahahaha"

At that, you both arrived, laughing, in front of the boss's office.

"I need to go now, the boss will explain everything, good luck with your first day!" He said before disappearing into the long corridor.

As you saw, this chapter was a chill chapter but the next one will reveal a lot of things so wait for it ;)
I'm sorry to let you wait for so long but I had many work to do. So as an apologise I will post two days on a row or try to post at least once a weak.
