♤chapter 17♤

God he truly is erethral, Rune thought watching Felix after he fell asleep while watching their movies. He examined the freckles that dusted across his cheeks and forehead. God did both Rune and Hyunjin find each mark perfect. Rune admired how the younger's hair had fallen across his face as he slept. Rune loved the little smile that would form on Felix's face, showing that he was enjoying his dreams. Felix had his head on Rune's lap, making it tempting for him to lean over an kiss Felix's forehead, but he couldn't. He knew from the way that Felix acted and reacted around him that he did not love Rune the way he loves Hyunjin.

He loves you, he just doesn't know how to accept it, Hyunjin whispered to Rune, it's hard for him and you know it is.

"You have a point," Rune whispered in response. He slowly ran his hands through Felix's hair, just thriving in the presence of the angelic boy in the driver's seat was all he needed. He could spend hours, even days like this, but eventually Felix would have to wake up. And that had it's own delights as well. Rune intertwined his fingers with those of the sleeping boy. Rune got scared for a second when he felt Felix shift slightly, he didn't want to wake up the angel on his lap.

"I can feel you staring at me," Felix slurred slightly, since he had only recently woke up. Rune smiled at the younger's words, lightly chuckling in amusement.

"I would say 'I'm sorry' but I'm not, you're too pretty not to look at," Rune explained, earning a playful slap from Felix. Rune laughed at the boy's childish actions. Felix had always been shy when it came to flirting. Both boys fell into a small fit of giggles.

"Why did you let me sleep so long?" Felix whined. Now sitting up and straddling the older.

"Because you are beautiful when you are sleeping," Rune stated, staring Felix in the eyes and brushing back a strand of his hair.

"Are you saying I'm not pretty all the time?" Felix pouts. Rune let out another chuckle.

"You are always beautiful baby," Rune said hugging the younger. Since Felix was still sleepy, he dozed off on Rune's shoulder. Rune had heard soft snores escape Felix's lips.

He might have stayed up late worrying about Hyunjin, Rune thought as he slowly stood up and carried the younger to the bedroom. Once there Rune softly laid the sleeping boy down before tucking him in and kissing Felix's forehead. Rune then headed towards the bathroom, wanting to take a shower.

Rune let out a sigh as he felt the warm water run down his back. He missed this, be missed feeling, seeing, and smelling everything first hand. Rune didn't understand why Hyunjin never trusted him, he wasn't that bad of a person. He had emotions and he cared for people, he just had a broken part to him. Rune can admit that he has done some bad things, that would make it reasonable for him being 'locked up' for so long.

"I'm sorry, I know you are scared of me, but you don't have to be," Rune spoke out loud, not really sure if he is aiming it towards anyone.

"Why would I hurt someone I love? I only want hurt those that hurt me," Rune whispered, choking up on the last few words. He hated everyone who hurt him, and be hated that the only way to make him and Hyunjin feel better was to hurt them too. Anxiety was a large enemy of the pair as it constantly scaring them. Rune went through the motions of his shower slowly, letting the water wash away all of the emotions that he doesn't want. He hated feeling guilt, anxiety, and sadness. He was never one that accepted his emotions well. He always hid and ignored them so that he could look after Hyunjin.

"Why did they have to do this to you?" Rune asked, feeling bad that his host has had to deal with so many problems because of those around him. Rune turned off the water and stepped out to dry off. He quietly hummed to himself as he picked out a pair of boxers and a t-shirt from the dresser.

"Changbin," Felix had mumbled in his sleep. This peaked Rune's attention, causing him to look at the younger in surprise and curiosity. Why is Lixie dreaming of Changbin? Hyunjin spoke with a tinge of jealousy. Ironically, Hyunjin shouldn't be jealous because while Young K was kissing him the night before, all he could imagine was Changbin's lips on his. Which was kind of wrong of him to do, but it felt so right to him. What was he going to do?

sorry this chapter is shorter. i was talking to a friend about this story and i then realized that i am pulling away from the main purpose of this book. i promise that changbin will come back, i just felt a need to enhance the story a bit. i promise we will be back to the ship in no time.

early update b/c i have one more final and i'm bored in class. last day of school whoop whoop!
