Louis' Transformation

Me and Lestat went to Louis' house. We were hiding in his room. We heard him coughing and we decided to see him. He pointed a gun at us.

"Who are you. What're you doing in my house?"

"Put that thing away!" I said.

I used a vampire power called telekinesis to take the gun from him. It was in my hand. Lestat was stunned.

"Impossible," he said inaudible.

Louis laid back down on his bed.

"Life has no meaning anymore does it?" Lestat asked.

Louis buried his face in his hands.

"How would you like to be someone else, someone different?" I asked.

Louis moaned.

"Who are you?"

"I am called a lot of things, demon, devil. They call me Lestat."

Louis looked at me, stood up and smirked.

"Who's the woman with you? She's beautiful."

"Lynessa, she's the same as me."

Louis kissed my hand.

"Pleasure."

"Likewise."

"She's a redcoat!"

"What's a redcoat?" I asked in confusion.

Louis' face then soften.

"Then you got nothing to worry about, Lynessa."

"Redcoats are British soldiers who invaded America. Tried to take over," Lestat said.

I nodded.

"As we were saying, we can give you a new life, no worries about sickness or dying. You will be happy."

We all went to the courtyard of the property. I saw people with brown skin working in the field. Louis saw his last sunrise, he came back.

"Are you ready?"

Louis nodded, then Lestat bit him on the neck until they were on the ground.

"I have trained you to the point of death. I leave you here, you die. Or you will be young always my friend. Are you prepared for the dark gift?"

"Y..yes."

Lestat bit his wrist and blood dripped on Louis, he sat up and drank it.

"Louis, stop it, too much. In pain. Stop!"

He let go and the transformation began.

"Now look...with your vampire eyes," Lestat said.

Louis looked around.

"How does it feel?" I asked.

"Like heaven."

We went back in the house.

"You sleep in a coffin from now on," I said.

"When you wake, you will start a new life as a vampire."

Lestat closed the coffin.
