S H A W N -

My eyes opened as the sunlight beamed into the room. It took a few seconds before I realised where I was.

I looked beside me to see a sleeping angel, Athena fast asleep. Her mouth slightly open and a tiny snore coming out.

She looked so adorable, I couldn't believe this girl had my whole heart. I don't what it was about her that truly captivated me and I didn't want to let that go, I really liked her and I hope she liked me as much as I liked her.

My fingers stroked her face, the feeling of her soft delicate skin in my finger tips. She smiled in her sleep which made me automatically smile when I seen her sweet smile. I pulled her closer to me and hugged her tightly, she nuzzled her face into me and let out a little yawn.

Then a few seconds later she opened her eye and looked up at me. "Hiiiii" she mumbled sleepily and her voice always made me melt. It was soft and so comforting.

"How did you sleep?" She asks before she stretched and sat up.

"Best sleep I've ever had" I say truthfully before I rolled myself into her. My head laying her lap and she giggled before she stroked her dainty fingers through my hair.

It was the truth I hadn't slept beside anyone in almost four years. I missed the feeling of holding someone against you and I missed the warmth and comfort it gave me.

"I slept just like a baby" she says and I smiled up at her.

"You remind me of a kitten" I say and she looks at me with a confused expression.

"How so?"

"Because all you need is to be fed, cuddled and sleep" I say and she laughs.

"That is the weirdest yet the nicest thing anyone has ever said" she says.

"People should always be saying nice things, look how beautiful you are" I say and she blushes.

"I just woke up"

"Hey you look amazing with that cute bed head" I say.

"Ah stop" she says as she placed her hands over her face. I pulled her hands away to see her pink rosy cheeks making me smile at her.

I loved making her blush.

"Right, we need to get up now because I have to go to work" I say and she sighs.

I got out of her warm bed and the a breeze hitting my skin made me shiver slightly. "Can I use your shower please?" I asked her.

"Sure you know where the bathroom is" she says and I nodded before I headed to her bathroom.

The bathroom was white and pastel colours with little cute plants everywhere. The whole place screams Athena but my bathroom was just white and grey; very simple. She had different smelling and fancy shampoos and conditioners, all these cool bath products which I was ready to try.

I had my shower and brushed my teeth with a spare
toothbrush. I felt great because I used her strawberry shampoo and conditioner, some cool body exfoliators and moisturisers. I came out of the shower and I could already smell breakfast being made.

I made my way to the kitchen where Athena was making eggs and bacon, the smell was making me drool.

I watched her small petite frame walking around the kitchen, I felt so lucky just getting to be with a girl as sweet as her. I went up behind her and wrapped my arms around her before placing a kiss on her cheeks.

"Mmh you smell good" she says as she turns around to fully hug me and taking a good sniff which made me laugh.

I had breakfast and kissed Athena goodbye before I went off to work. I was extremely happy today, more then I had been in such a long time and it felt good.
